Whole school trip to Glasgow Science Centre
* Bus leaves Amisfield Primary 8am prompt

* Children to wear school uniform

* Any absence please call 01387 710320 and leave a message if phone unmanned

* Mrs Farrell and Mrs Copland will be the emergency contacts within the school until the trip returns. We will message all families with an expected return time in the afternoon.

Well done to our football team who showed great skill and sportsmanship at this morning’s Guid Nychburris tournament. We didn’t progress through to the finals but had a great time. We’ll be back. Some photos below 👍

Thank you to everyone who came to our Open Afternoon. The P5-7 children enjoyed sharing their learning about climate zones around the world and the P1-4 class entertained us with some Scottish folk songs ❤️

This may be of interest during the holidays. Our P7 class are travelling to Carlisle with 3 members of staff, bargain fare 👍 1 adult can take 4 kids for a pound each!! No railcard necessary 😊

We are thrilled to announce that Amisfield Primary School has received their Rights Respecting School Bronze Award!

We made it all the way to the final and finished as runners up at the Cairn Cup!!

Thank you so much to Mrs Mullen, John Alison and Chris for coaching the Team for the last 4 weeks! They did you proud!

We can't wait for the Guid Nychburris Tournament in a few weeks!! 💪

Our very first Partnership Team (Amisfield and Collin) are playing in this event tomorrow!!

Huge congratulations to Ella, whose poem has been chosen to be published in a book as part of this year’s Young Writers Competiton! ⭐️

Reminder for all children to come in school uniform on Thursday 2nd May for the whole school photo.
P7s will have their group photo taken on this day too. Can they please wear uniform, but can bring their hoodies as well if they wish 😊

We had a special visit today, from John and Gizmo from Dumfries and Galloway Canine Rescue Centre. They came to say thank you and collect the donations from our dress down day.

We can't wait to hear how Gizmo gets on with his adoption 🤞

We turned into CSI Investigators today as part of our Science topic! DNA evidence led to the arrest of Mrs Farrell as our thief!

A HUGE well done to our gymnastics teams today. 👏 They achieved lots of new personal goals and represented the school with pride.

An extra special mention to Jenna Wardrop who placed first in the pre-level section. 🥇
