At the BBC Tim created the landmark and multi-BAFTA and Emmy award winning Walking with Dinosaurs series in 1998, followed by sequel Walking with Beasts and drama The Lost World.

In 2019, Tim founded LoudMindsTV a production company that is currently making a landmark science series for NBC called Surviving Earth 🌍

It was an honour to receive our from Her Majesty The Queen at Buckingham Palace today. The highest national Honour in , the Prizes recognise excellence, innovation and benefit to the wider world.

Bangor University was recognised for its work on developing a novel system for public health surveillance through the analysis of harmful pathogens in wastewater. The system was deployed nationally during the COVID-19 pandemic and has now been adapted to measure a wide range of public health indicators.

Many congratulations to the whole team including our collaborators at Cardiff University.

Staff from School of Psychology and Sport Science engaged with over 300 female rugby players across 9 The Welsh Rugby Union hubs across North Wales capturing the spirit of female youth rugby in the region! 🏉

“The insights gained from this engagement includes the importance of the individualised approaches to developing relationships with hubs and the importance of continued engagement through our research project.” – Dr Julian Owen, Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Science.

Part of the World Rugby funded research project, examining injury risk and funded by Bangor University's Community Fund.

Some of our students went on an exciting adventure into the great outdoors to gain valuable conservation experience, thanks to the support of Cymdeithas Eryri Snowdonia Society 🌿🌳

Together, they planted a whopping 100 trees, including oak, birch, hazel, and rowan saplings, to create a beautiful native woodland at Yr Ysgwrn. 🌱

Thank you also to Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri - Eryri National Park and Partneriaeth Ogwen for the support and collaboration, without them, this event wouldn't have been possible! 🙌✨
