Every year, 1,400 women in Northern Ireland face a breast cancer diagnosis. Cancer Focus NI provides a lifeline, offering nearly 8,000 cancer therapeutic sessions to local families, all free of charge. Their incredible work is fueled by your generosity.

This October, we're embracing the power of pink! Join us on Thursday, 26th October, from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM as we host a series of events to raise funds for this vital cause:

☕ Brewing for Good: Every cuppa counts! All proceeds from tea and coffee sold in the canteen during the event will be donated to Cancer Focus NI. So, sip your favourite brew and make a difference.

💇 Pamper for a Purpose: Our Hair Salon experts will be offering fabulous services from 11 AM to 1 PM, including blow drys, ghd curls, plaits, and upstyles. Treat yourself while supporting a great cause!

💅 Nails On Point: Our Beauty team will be providing file and polish services in the canteen or foyers from 11 AM to 1 PM. Get your nails done and show your support!

🛍️ Crafts for a Cause: Some of our talented lecturers and their students in Ballymoney are crafting special items to sell on the day. Stay tuned to see if there are more surprises from other campuses!

𝐔𝐂𝐔 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝟏𝟖-𝟐𝟐 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑) – 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬

The College will remain open during this week (𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲).
𝐅𝐮𝐥𝐥-𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐅𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 classes are planned to go ahead as normal.

𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 due to take place on campus on Monday 18 September has been cancelled. The remainder of the week is currently still scheduled.

𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭-𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 and 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 classes will be postponed and rescheduled to take place from w/b 25 September.

𝐅𝐮𝐥𝐥-𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 new and returning students, will receive a further communication about arrangements for enrolment.

Meet Conor Dallas (25) from Loughguile, County Antrim, who is in his final year of Bench Joinery apprenticeship at our Ballymoney Campus. Conor's dedication and skills have earned him this prestigious honour at the Construction News Specialists gala awards dinner, held at the Hilton London Metropole. 🎉🎖️

These awards, celebrating their 19th year, are the foremost national accolades recognising the outstanding contributions of specialist contractors and showcasing remarkable work within the construction industry. 🏗️👷‍♂️

Conor's journey to this achievement was marked by rigorous evaluation, with entries from all across the UK assessed by an impartial panel comprising principal contractors and industry experts. Conor stood out among the best, making it to the shortlist for the Young Apprentice of the Year category. Several months ago, he even traveled to London for an interview with the judges! 🌍
