P4-7 had an amazing ‘Treat Day’ as a result of all their hard work for their Entrepreneur Marketplace. Their profit paid for Nerf gun battles, football shootouts, chips and nuggets!

Busy week this week. P1/2 enjoyed having Victoria Jackson (Children’s Ministry Development Officer for Connor Diocese of the Church of Ireland) visiting us, telling us a Bible story and doing lots of fun craft activities with us.

Another busy week in Afterschools 😊

P1/2 made amazing ‘personality clouds’ today, writing about the things they like ☁️

P1/2 enjoyed learning about chickens today
and were thrilled to meet Mrs Jackson’s hen Clementine 🐔

P1/2 have been learning about how to look after their pets and were excited to met Mrs Mullan’s pets today - Blu and new puppy Missy 🐶🐾

P6/7 enjoyed at an historical walk around Killyleagh this week with local historian Clive Scoular 😃

P1/2 are having fun being creative as they learn about 2D and 3D shapes👏🤩

It was a farm type day yesterday- an interesting talk about farm safety (hseni) and a visit from George the piglet🐷 Thanks Mrs Gabbie for bringing him in - we loved him 🐖

Flying the flag for Derryboy Primary school today as we met with Education Minister Paul Givan MLA and Harry Harvey MLA at Stormont for a very productive meeting.
