What does real trans and nonbinary inclusion look like in the music industry?

Last year, I. Jordan posted an Instagram reel that opened up a conversation about the experiences of trans and nonbinary individuals within spaces where there is a mixture of cis women and gender non-conforming people.

In this in-depth essay, Saffron mentor Joni speaks to other trans and nonbinary individuals about their experiences. Her exploration illuminates commonalities and differences in their perspectives – and in doing so invites introspection and further dialogue.
