Resilience Myth Busting - The term resilience is being used a lot these days, and there is the potential for misinterpretation of the true meaning of resilience.

Resilience is about your personal ability to bounce up and move forward after a difficulty or set back. It is not about pushing through or forging ahead despite the difficulties.

Our training is about teaching people how to build coping strategies into their personal and professional lives that help them to raise awareness of how they are dealing with adversity or challenge, apply new strategies and reflect on the success of these strategies so they can move forward.

Sadly, this week was the last workshop of our highly successful Customer Service Programme that we have been delivering with the wonderful learners at UNN, Brunei.

Over the course of the nine workshops that we designed and delivered, we have created the Three R principles and a series of customer standards that underpin the foundation of the programme.

Addressing themes such as understanding the customer, business communication, customer meetings, handling customer complaints and customer presentations, our final workshop this week was the importance of emotional intelligence and personal resilience within a customer service environment.

We have been sharing a lot about our ILM Level 3 for new and aspiring managers. But did you know that
we develop experienced managers too?

We are currently working with a client delivering the ILM Level 5 Leadership & Management Qualification.

This programme helps those middle and senior leaders take their skills a stage further by looking strategically at their businesses and making a difference to it.

Some of the modules we can deliver in ILM Level 5 include - Becoming an Effective Leader and Innovation & Change.

In the Innovation & Change module we conduct strategic analysis of the business, decide on innovative ways to enhance and develop the business in line with its vision, mission, values and strategic goals.

We enable managers and heads of departments to create real workable change plans to implement their innovative ideas practically into the business immediately.

This can have a significant impact for the managers and their business. Which is why this ILM Level 5 Leadership & Management Qualification is so successful.
