Hello everyone,
Autumn term has begun and I know for many children, parents and guardians, this can be a difficult and scary time. There are so many changes to cope with, new teachers and new timetables.
(A note for Year 11 students. This year goes very quickly. Like a roller coaster ride, it feels like a slow tedious, uphill climb towards Christmas but from Christmas to Easter time seems to accelerate towards the summer exams. I advise all year 11 students to start revising now to prevent panic after Christmas).
From the week beginning Monday the 9th October.
I have slots still available on Mondays at 4pm and 5pm.
Lessons are conducted by Zoom.
See below, for prices and contact details. Please use email in the first instance as I don't always see fb messenger messages...
Email: [email protected]
Prices:£15 for 3/4 hour (Experience has shown that this works better for the student than a whole hour, which can be daunting for them on Zoom).
To be paid before the lesson via PayPal (or an alternative method can be discussed).
A phone or zoom conversation with you is required prior to commencing lessons if the lessons are for your child.
I have a DBS certificate.
I also specialise in teaching maths to children, young people and adults who are neurodivergent.
Please contact me by email in the first instance as I often don't pick up messages through the messenger app. When I receive your email I will reply and we can arrange a phone conversation when you can ask questions and decide if you'd like to arrange a first lesson.
I also teach adults, and if you are parent(s) or guardians wanting to learn so that you can help your child learn maths then I offer that too.
Maths is possible - for everyone to learn 😃
I have taught maths in secondary schools (11 years) then FE colleges (13 years) and then via Zoom since 2020.
Building confidence, creating an 'I can do maths' belief, and the realisation that maths can even be enjoyable (it can, really 😄) is possible - for everyone.
