How can I help my neurodivergent child who is masking?
We have just published a research study that shows that neurodivergent girls have started camouflaging by early adolescence.
All girls (neurotypical & neurodivergent) reported being worried what others thought of them & copying others. But neurodivergent girls reported feeling like they are acting/pretending.
The link with poor mental health is already evident at this age too.
