What fantastic weather at last weeks Atlantic Crest Aquatic Safety Qualification course. With a balmy water temp of 19 degrees most attendees didn't even need wetsuits in the River Adur. You may need a few more layers on April 2023's course but we'd love to see you!

We will be running a 2 day Off Site Safety Management (OSSM) course on Monday 20th – Tuesday 21st June 2022 from Lifesigns Group's head office in Tongham, Surrey.

This is a critical position within a small dynamic team that has the potential to play a lead role in the development of Adventure Lifesigns. This position represents an exciting opportunity to work in a small company on several levels beyond the key operational functions.
Key duties and Responsibilities
• To organise, plan and budget all aspects of the international expeditions offered by Adventure Lifesigns. This is to include; the creation of itineraries, budgets, kit lists and all other documentation required for the expedition; appointing expedition leaders; booking flights; running training courses and delivering informative and engaging presentations to key persons involved with the expedition; credit control; risk assessments; and all other duties relating to the successful delivery of international expeditions.
• To provide a high level of professionalism at all times when dealing with clients and stakeholders.
• Confidential administrative support to the company directors – including the planning, arranging and administration of all areas mentioned above.
• To build and maintain successful relationships with Participants, teachers and parents. Treat them consistently with respect and consideration and ensure that they are informed of all relevant information throughout the expedition process.
• Liaising with flight booking organisations and their administrative teams to book the most cost effective flights for all overseas expeditions. Duties to include maintaining a high level of auditable paperwork at all times.
• Provide an effective and professional level of administrative support to all clients including teachers, participants, outside agents and freelance expedition leaders associated with the expedition department and the Lifesigns Group. A high standard is expected at all times given that client satisfaction encourages repeat business.
• Participate in continuous improvement, recommend and implement sensible improvements to implement best practice.
• Undertake, alongside the accounts department invoices for ATOL, credit control and expedition payments.
• If required, take an active part in teaching UK-based training courses and other outdoor packages.
• To ensure that all potential clients are kept aware of new destinations offered by the company and to work with the company directors on the production and ex*****on of new marketing initiatives and publicity materials. To assist with the construction and maintenance of the expedition website and e-newsletters and fundraising letters.
• To undertake general expedition department office duties such as maintaining and updating computer systems.
• Health and Safety; have a shared responsibility for safety and wellbeing of everyone within the workplace.
• To assist as directed by the company directors, across all areas of the group.
