PLEASE NOTE: SCHOOL IS OPEN AS NORMAL HOWEVER SOME CHILDREN ARE SELF ISOLATING AND WE WOULD LIKE TO SHARE SOME RESOURCES TO ENABLE WORK TO BE DONE AT HOME.
Again, apologies for short notice but we have made the decision to suspend the Big Band of Fun sessions at THS until after Easter. If your child usually takes part, please collect from Tidcombe at 3.30pm as normal tomorrow and NOT 4pm at THS. Many thanks.

Dear Year 3 Parents,

Heatree Residential

Yesterday we made a decision about the Heatree residential based on the most recent Government advice and information available at the time.

However, overnight the Government has advised against non - essential travel. We consider travel to Heatree is desirable but not
essential. Our interpretation of the overnight guidance from the Government leaves us reluctantly to not go ahead with the Heatree trip.

We understand that many parents would have liked the trip to go ahead as would we, however we must follow Government
guidance. This really is a disappointment to all of us, but it is vital that we all follow our Government's guidance and advice at this time.

We appreciate your continued support.

We would like to think that we aren't over reacting BUT we take the health of your children very seriously. Please see the following link with particular note on "advice to schools on how to prevent the spread of COVID-19:"

We have made sure that ALL classrooms have hand sanitsers, plus tissues. For teachers, we have also added some antibacterial wipes for all surfaces and our cleaning regime has been increased to include recommended additional levels of chemicals (as per advice for this current outbreak). Children are, as always, encouraged to wash their hands after being to the loo and before eating. They will also have a sq**rt of hand gel given to them before lunchtime. Mr Green would like us to remind you to consider keeping your children at home if they feel at all unwell.
