We finished the summer with 3 fantastic days at Knayton, Coxwold and Alne!

Thanks to everyone who has helped me over the summer and to everyone who has booked their child in, we have seen some fantastic tennis over the summer holidays and this will continue afterschool with sessions at Thirsk and Knayton

Sessions will run as normal starting the 8th September:

Day 19 - Thirsk Tennis Club 😁

Today was our final day of sessions at Thirsk. This summer has been brilliant with so many new and familiar faces coming along to enjoy tennis and learn to compete in the sport we all love. Today was no different with all children showing brilliant sportsmanship throughout the sessions.

Tuesday at Thirsk was a great day, with lots of prizes won for improvement and medals earned for some brilliant performances! 🏅

Day 17 - Alne Tennis Club 😁

Today we had a great day enjoying the sunshine at Alne! Thanks to all who attended. The Children all showed a great attitude and brilliant sportsmanship throughout!

Friday at Coxwold was such a super day! Sam was brilliant as my helper all day, huge thanks go to him 👏 the groups were all a joy to coach and we could see improvement in each child. Everyone seemed to have a fantastic time, which was great to see!

Thursday was amazing! As the photos show we had some incredibly high energy sessions, with those who attended all practising and improving their tennis skills, match play and sportsmanship!

Day 13 - Thirsk Tennis Club 🌞

Today we had a fantastic day at Thirsk Tennis club! The weather was amazing and we had loads of fun!

The sportsmanship awards were not easy to decide, as every child behaved brilliantly and showed a great attitude, even when things got competitive at points in the day.

Thanks to Ali and Mary Rose for the amazing help, ensuring it all ran smoothly!

Day 12! Coxwold Tennis Club 🌞

Today was so much fun! The children were all impeccably behaved and improvement could be seen in all of their skills. We took time to practice our forehands and backhands, as well as serves, before applying them to game situations 🎾🎾🎾

Day 11 - Hillside Rural Activities Park - HRAP 😁

Yesterday was yet again a hugely popular day at Leake Tennis Club, Knayton! We had high energy levels in all 3 groups, which ran smoothly thanks to help from Noah and Hayley. Thank you 🙏

The pictures show what fun we had and the children all went home having improved their tennis skills, whether it be forehands, backhands and serves. 👍

Today was a great day at Thirsk Tennis club! Thanks to everyone who made it such a fantastic day. The tots session was buzzing with excitement and the red, orange and Green ball groups were brilliant too!

We had a great start to the week at Alne and we have so much more to get excited for this week and in the weeks to come 🎾😁🥳

We had a brilliant end to the week! Thanks so much to everyone involved. We battled through the rain and ended up having 3 awesome sessions where the children (and us) had lots of fun, whilst improving their serves, forehands and backhands 👍 🎾

Today was one of the best days I've ever had running tennis camps. The groups were energetic, fun and everyone showed a great attitude on court making it a lot of fun for everyone! The helpers I had were amazing, so a huge thanks goes to Theo, Mary Rose, Noah and Ty for their efforts 🙏👏

We have over 3 weeks of sessions remaining and they promise to be 3 great weeks of tennis! Book on as places are still remaining for future sessions

🎉🎉 Well done to Kitty who has recently passed her level 1 and is now a qualified assistant tennis coach. 👏👏

This is a fantastic achievement and well deserved for her hard work as a helper in our sessions.

Kitty is a junior in our programme and has been helping us coach for around a year now. She has realised her passion for coaching and is incredibly helpful and a great role model for the children in the group, which is great for us her and especially the younger children who look up to her.

Thank you Kitty for all of your hard work and well done for achieving this Level 1 award 👏

I recently encouraged 2 more players in the programme to become young leaders during our Easter camps and they were absolutely brilliant, so if you would like your child to get experience assisting and even leading in this capacity please let me know.

Day 6 at Leake Tennis Club, Knayton was eventful! Some amazing tennis, some awful weather but so much fun throughout 😁🎾👍

We survived a huge downpour between the morning groups and had a great day if sessions. All the children enjoyed themselves and improved their skills and went home happy, which was great to see 😁👍

We survived the wind and the rain and everyone had an absolutely brilliant day at the tennis courts! Thanks to all who booked in for what were 3 high energy, exciting sessions

Thanks to Ty and Ali who were amazing helpers. The children and I really appreciated them both as they were such good young leaders. Hard working and great working with the little ones.

The sun was out again and every child who attended did brilliantly! Choosing the sportsmanship awards was very tough and I genuinely think everyone improved whilst having lots of fun! Great to see!

Our Easter camps have kicked off and today was fantastic! 🌞🎾🥇

We had 3 brilliant sessions starting with the Tots at 9am, before the reds at 10.30 and the afternoon group were also a pleasure to coach! I hope everyone who attended enjoyed the sessions!
