COVID-19: stay at home guidance

Dear All

In light of the Governments move into the ‘delay’ phase of the Coronavirus action plan https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-action-plan we will be following the stay at home guidelines guidance outlined by Public Health England. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-stay-at-home-guidance

We ask that any member of staff, nursery child or someone associated with staff or children who has experienced the onset of high temperature and /or continuous cough should stay at home and not leave the house for seven days from when the symptoms started.
You do not need to call 111 to go into self-isolation. However, if your symptoms worsen during this period or are no better after 7 days contact NHS 111.

If your child or you yourself is affected please do not bring them into Nursery but do follow the normal absence procedure and email [email protected]

We also ask that Staff Members follow the same procedure and contact the Nursery as soon as possible.

At this stage, as advised by the Government, the Nursery remains OPEN.

After 9years Debbie is moving down to the coast with her fabulous family to embark on chapters new.

There are not enough words or time to detail her achievements. Debbie was fundamental in the development and running of the Nursery, working tirelessly to make it the Nursery that you see today.

¬ We require staff attendance at regular team meetings (every 6-8 weeks) to discuss important nursery issues and plan for any forthcoming events -these are held inside and sometimes outside of normal nursery opening hours
¬ Attendance at planning meetings affecting your own area of work or ‘room’ are essential.
¬ We enjoy holding social events and fundraising activities at the nursery (sometimes outside of nursery hours) and encourage staff to be there…families welcome.
¬ We expect staff to act responsibly and professionally at work and to discuss any concerns or problems as soon as possible with the Manager.
