Little Hedgehogs

Hello I am Kyla, I'm a single mum to a lovely 6 yr old boy.
I love children and so becoming a childminder was an easy decision for me.
At our house we live by the simple principle of trying to show love in all we do, whether that is the way we act or talk or think.

I believe all children deserve to grow up feeling safe, knowing they are valued and that their opinion matters, part of that feeling safe comes from clear and fair boundaries that are consistently stuck to, but I also believe that childhood should be a LOT of fun.
I like good manners and believe all children are capable of learning them (even if not showing them at all times!! 😂 children are just small humans after all...do adults have perfect behaviour all the time?)

Life is full of choices and as you grow up they get harder, but if you can start learning to make good choices from a young age it will help later in life. I try to encourage my little ones to think for themselves, consequences is a big word but even little people can learn it and take responsibility for their actions.

We have a pet cat and enjoy cooking, playing, gardening, spending time outdoors and spending time with family and friend's.
