Students aged from 4 to 18, from the beginner to a-level class.

The UK Telford Chinese school has started last Sunday and welcome all the students back. Espeially welcome NEW students to join us.
Last Sunday, just in time to catch up with the Mid-Autumn Festival in China, and our Level 1 students made lanterns to celebrate.

Telford Chinese School is having normal lesson with teaching the Chinese writing for Mother Day today. Students enjoy making cards to their moms and have funs to learn Chinese about Mother Day! 🌸🌸🌸

We had a lovely Chinese new year of the pig and the 25th Anniversary of the Telford Chinese school celebrations with our students and parents on 3rd February. The Artist Mr Li presented a beautiful plum bossom painting to congratulate.

Our students had a great day today as all of them have learnt about the Christmas in Chinese.🎅🎊
We are also very pround of our students that they have achieved a very good results on the tests. Half of the students on each class have gained A+ and A. Particually, the students from children class Level 4 are able to write a long pharagraph independently during the test. 👍👍
Congratulation to all our students have achieved a good progress this term. 🎉🎉
Today is our last day on the Autum Term, and the Spring Term will start on 13th January 2019.

Ms Liu and Ms Zhang had been selected to attend the teacher training in Manchester from 19th to 20th November. The training course was held by Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban“国家汉办”).
It foucuses on how to improve the teaching quality and skills in Chinese language and also offers the opportunities for all UK Chinese teachers to share their exprience and teaching resources.
It is our honor that Ms Liu and Ms Zhang have taken the picture with Mr Chen, the Director of UK Hanban Office, and Professor Chen, who is the former principle of Confucius Institute, and now is the director of Chinese Language Department at Sheffield University.

On Sunday, our headteachers and the teacher from Beginner Level 4, Ms Zheng attended the UK Chinese Teacher Day at London King's College.
Congratulations 🎉🎉 to Ms Zheng for being awarded as one of the Best UK Chinese Teacher By UKAPCE. Ms Zheng has been teaching Chinese language for 16 years at three Chinese schools in the U.K. Our school is very honoured to have her since 2016.
We also met the Minister Counsellor&Consul General, Mr. Tong Xuejun during the celebration.
Once again, Congratulations to Ms Zheng for her reward!🎊🎊🎊

New term has started in September, we have a fantastic start this year with lots of new comers attending our school. As this term is ended today, we are very pleased that our students have achieved lots of improvements.

Our school focuses on learning for fun, therefore, students learn Chinese with lots of different activities and games. This helps them to learn Chinese easily with a great results on every Sunday during term time.
We also have one to one adult lesson to cater for different level learners.

Petition: Organise a rescue plan to prevent the avoidable overnight closure of PRH’s A&E The overnight closure of Princess Royal Hospital’s A&E is avoidable and a solution is there if those responsible higher up nationally choose to intervene. Government and those at the top in the NHS have the power to resolve this and stop it happening.

紧急通知/ Emergency notice:

由于天气原因，道路积雪太深，为了交通安全，特通知今日3月18日中文学校停课一次。GCSE相关考试讲座也将改期，另行通知各位。下周日3月25日教师参加培训，课程挪到4月15日。谢谢！

Due to the heavy snow last night and bad road condition, our school has decided to close all the lessons today. The GCSE workshop will be rescheduled and will be notified accordingly. Next week's lessons will also move to 15 April because of teacher's annual training. Thank you!

Celebrations for Chinese New Year Celebrations have been taking place in the county to mark the Chinese New Year.

What a great celebration yesterday! We were so delighted to have so many people come and celebrate Chinese New Year with us, including our Mr. Mayor, Telford Council Marketing team, NHS, Telford Chinese Christian Fellowship, Miss Shropshire, Shropshire star, etc...and of course our lovely students and families. Mandarin Beginner class for adults is opening～
Join us for a fun filled Mandarin learning class and meet more people sharing the same interest! A taster session has set up on 14 January 2.30-4.00 for free of charge.
We have also the children's art/painting class going on at the same time should you need to accommodate your kids.
