Finley had the best time today visiting Santa 🎅

We've just had a fantastic morning full of exciting activities.

Our first activity was enjoying a visit from some of our friends from Exotic Zoo . All the children were very brave to hold the animals!

Our second activity was a time to relax with some Christmas themed yoga sessions by Sahara. Even Abi, our Youth Engagement Officer joined in with the yoga!

Donnington Day Centre had a exciting visit from Simon at Exotic Zoo who brought 6 different animals for a talk and therapy session. Carol (pictured) is registered blind and Simon took great care in describing all the patterns, colours and movements of each animal.

Hi will the car park dark lane be open tomorrow? Thursday 15th.

Class 4 kicked off their Science topic 'Animals including humans' last week with a visit from the Exotic Zoo. They learned about food chains and the differences between herbivore and carnivore teeth - this included looking at a real tiger skull! They then met a green bean stick insect followed by their favourite - Tia the skunk.

There should never be an excuse for posting something cute! Meet Marcel, a 4 week old Patagonian Mara at Exotic Zoo in Telford, Shropshire.
This beautiful baby boy is being hand reared by keeper Ryan as it’s mother has shown no interest in the baby. Yesterday I got to meet Marcel and many other cool animals in a brilliant Keeper Experience which the review will go on the website during today.
I’ve 5 VIP reviews to upload today, so make sure you check out www.zootrips.co.uk tonight to read all about the amazing animals I’ve met this last couple of weeks.

But I think Marcel deserves the spotlight of just how cute he is!

CHRISTMAS VOUCHERS

Today is the last day for 1st class post, we understand that some have not bought their vouchers from us just yet for Christmas presents.

We even had our first doggy visitor joining us for breakfast with Santa ❤️🐾 Teddy enjoyed a sausage and some treats and got to have a photo with Santa. He’s definitely on the nice list 📜🖋️

So I’ve promised Santa this year we will make him the best grotto that we have ever had, as the big man is choosing to spend it at Exotic Zoo 🎅🏻

Lots of our animals love autumn! Mostly because it provides lots of leaf litter for them to forage in! 🍂🍁🍃

Timmy, Talulah and Tia have been loving digging for bugs amongst the leaves 🪱🍂 practicing natural behaviours and making use of their super long claws! 🦨

Our pumpkin woods and haunted woods are still stocked and ready to be explored!
