Today marks 4 years since ANTA Education Limited was first incorporated!

Managing Director Craig Howard says,

“Four years ago, I was sitting at home just coming out of depression having had the worst 12 months of my life and leaving a job that I loved (the best job I've ever had...until this one). I didn't know it yet but I was smack in the middle of a couple of the worst years of my personal life.... and I started a business.

"I never had a clear business plan, I didn't start with any immediate contracts, or money in the bank. All I had was an idea. An idea that obviously didn't involve a pandemic from month 6 to month 30!!

"But the idea seems to have worked. I've taken on staff, moved out of the home office, grown my network and built an idea that works. An idea that works as long as I'm here doing it!

"If there's one thing I've learned in 4 years it's to keep going. Giving up is often the easiest option. No matter how painful, no matter how uncomfortable, no matter how many people let you down. If you know what you're doing is right, then just keep going!!

"In an industry that is struggling thanks to numerous challenges. I'm pleased that we'll be announcing that we've won a new contract to support job seekers very soon.

"The future is always uncertain, it always has been. Change is the only constant and we need to be prepared to adapt. But whatever comes in the next 12 months, we'll be here to face it..

"Thank you as ever to every single person who has supported me in this idea. Your advice, your guidance, your social media likes and everything you've given means the absolute world to me and I don't want to stop!

"I'm really bloody happy now and life has never been better : ) Bring on the next year!"

Today was the enrolment session for our CSCS card course at the Donnington Community Hub in Telford and we had a great turnout with people coming along to secure a place on the course which begins next week.

We’ve been able to run this course with the help of Cllr Richard Overton and funding from the The Edward Cadbury Charitable Trust , with a view to supporting local people back into work.

It’s been too long since I’ve been out in the community doing something like this, it used to be a weekly event in a previous life. I can’t wait to see who we meet today and support local residents on their journey into work.

Asbestos is an extremely hazardous substance that causes serious ill-health to anyone who disturbs or damages it. For this reason, all workers who may come across asbestos or asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) must be trained so that they can work safely. are now offering this online banksman training course

Also known as Traffic Marshal Training.

This Banksman Training course is an awareness level course that helps learners understand how to fulfil their role of supporting safe vehicle and mobile plant operations. It is suitable for banksmen in a range of industries and for various types of vehicle and mobile plant operations.

The course covers key areas of a banksman's role, including helping to maintain the control measures put in place by their employer, effectively instructing and guiding drivers and operators when other controls are not sufficient for reducing the risks, and keeping the work area free from pedestrians and others who may be harmed. It explains how to use the signals set out in the Health and Safety (Safety Signs and Signals) Regulations 1996, which banksmen commonly use to help direct drivers and operators. Illustrations, videos, and animations are used to teach learners the hand signals, so they can see them in action.

Note that the course is designed to support practical, work activity and work environment specific training that banksmen must receive beyond this course. It can also act as a refresher for those who have already received practical training.

In the last few weeks the participants of our Construction Traineeship have been undertaking their work experience on site under the care and guidance of Lovell Homes.

The feedback has been really positive with one of our learners saying “The work experience was great. I was paired with an experienced worker and I got to undertake a variety of different jobs. It gave me a real taste of what I’ll be doing when I start employment. I really enjoyed it!”

We’ll be updating you on their progress as they move towards securing employment in the coming weeks!
