Ok…. Picture this…. You want 2 stone off.
There are 3 roads…. Each one will take you to a wonderful place called “YOUR GOAL”
So “YOUR GOAL” is a place where you feel exuberant with the way you look and feel, happy that all your clothes fit, you feel like you’ve been given a new lease of life as you’re more active, less tired, have more energy, sleeping better and with no aches and pains - it’s sounds amazing right?!
When you begin, you want to get to “YOUR GOAL” as quick as possible - no one wants to be on any diet for years (but we are 🤦🏼♀️)
Road 1 - stick to plan, get the weight off, stay strong and strict with yourself - REMEMBER YOUR WHY - WHY you want the weight off..
If we HAD to stay on plan - Dr’s orders, we’d do it!
Time taken 2 months (a stone a month, 2 stone gone!) Motivation stays strong, job done! 👏🏼
You arrive at “YOUR GOAL”😇
🏎 I like to think of travelling this road in 6th gear the whole way!!! 🏎
Road 2 - start off good, motivation weakens, you have days, nights out with friends because “I still want to live”.
You struggle to get back on track the following day. Weekly weighins come with more excuses than pounds off!
2 months on and you’re still chasing that first stone saying the diets “not working”?!
If you keep messing about then you may get to “YOUR GOAL” in 6 months. 🤷🏼♀️
🚙 You travel this road constantly stalling, using more fuel!!! 🚙
Road 3 - you want this “so bad” but can’t get through a full day without nibbling.
The excuses that come are endless, “the diet is too expensive” and “it’s not working” or “I want to eat”
You blame everyone but yourself.
Motivation is gone.
You never reach “YOUR GOAL” but you ‘try’ again year after year.
🚙You travel this road and breakdown - it’ll cost you more than you thought! 🚙
We ALL know the best way to do any diet - simply stick to it! Consistency works!
If you want to eat whilst on the 1.1 diet then stop punishing yourself by saying you can’t stick to plan as you’ve chosen to follow the lower steps - dance around the plan, move up the steps, get your book out and pick the healthy options which will keep you on plan and motivated - the scales will still move in the right direction.
Cost wise… it’s actually cheaper to stick to plan than it is to keep messing about!
Stay focused, move up the steps to maintain, it’ll keep the weight off.
If you do the plan, and don’t move up the steps, increasing your calorie intake then the weight will be back on quickly - 1.1 diet is tried and tested, it’s been medically researched - it works if you follow it correctly!!!

Today is National Relaxation Day which encourages us to slow down and unwind. It’s a day to focus on taking care of ourselves and take a moment to relax.
National Relaxation Day is an important day as we all need a break from the fast-paced and often hectic lifestyles we live. Taking time to recuperate and rejuvenate our tired minds and bodies may help prevent many health risks. Like the founder of this day suggested, too much work can make us sick, run-down, tired and that’s just wrong.
But he was right! It has been proven that stress can be harmful to our health, both mentally and physically.

I always watched other people enjoying themselves come the good weather and for me it was my worst nightmare....HOT...SWEATY and feeling really uncomfortable.

We love incorporating coriander into our meals because it's so light and fresh!

Did you know that coriander is great for digestion and rich in immune-boosting antioxidants? How good is that!? 🌿
Claire started on Step 3 in May 2021.
When she became a Consultant she moved through the Steps slowly.
Step 2 at first then Step 1b.
Her start weight was 17 stone 4.5lbs and she's now lost 5.5 stone and weighs 11 stone 11lbs.
Claire has always battled with her weight and lost 6 stone after having each of her 2 children.
Now she's 49, Claire was finding that other diets just didn't shift the weight.
This One Works!!
Claire is now waiting for a full hip replacement in July and her orthopaedic surgeon has asked that she is 11 stone.
Whilst being fairly immobile and unable to exercise, Claire is still losing, back on Step 3.
Claire has 2 children of her own and adopted her 2 step children after their Mum died.
She also has an older step daughter.
With 5 children, running 2 small businesses and having a part time job, Claire says The 1:1 Diet is perfect for busy Mums & Dads who don't have lots of time to spend ages prepping and cooking.
