On another note.....
Captain tubby over here is trimming off the excess fat π
Never in a million years thought I would get back into my competition gear, so im extremely happy about that.
Another half stone and I will feel like the pre-baby body is back ππ

SCHEDULE CHANGES!!!!
WOW what a crazy couple of months its been. I am now just free lance with naughty nags so sorry for lack of updates. With a change of direction in my life I've had a change in my available equestrian time. I am now available every weekend, all weekend and weekday evenings for teaching, schooling, yard duties or competition coaching and grooming.
With winter also upon us I am available for clipping with my battery charged clippers suitable even for yards without electricity.
I look forward to a winter of hard work and training ready for next seasons summer competitions...
contact me on 07581230799 for availability and prices

It's been one of those weeks where there have been highs and lows but on the good side the lows were definitely outweighed by the highs. So mega proud of my McLaughlin girls who seem to have just clicked with jumping again, thinking for themselves and really proving to be the rider rather than just a passenger on top and to India who is seeing a whole new side to outsmarting her clever little chap without the arguements allowing her to move on and up, cruising 1.05-1.10m courses at home... And she's only 12!!!! The test will be the 90cm working hunter class on Monday. Fingers x

ROSETTES ALL AROUND...
I can proudly say that yesterday I took Hyperian Jax to our first dressage competition together. Now I haven't ridden a dr test since 2013 and I have no idea when, or if ever, Jax has been to a dr comp, with this in mind all I wanted to achieve were 2 tests that showed some relaxed moments taking the contact forward and stretching through his back without too much tension. In our first test we did just that and I was over the moon, many moments of being overbent/behind the vertical and needing to cover more ground but still it was a great first test gaining us a 63%. The second test was even better, he relaxed more, took the contact forward and held a much better rhythm this time receiving 68%. All in all the winters hard work paid off coming home with 1st and 4th from an amalgamated class.

So the season has begun.... Lucy and Bel did their first sj on their new ponies last Sunday. They both rode 2 beautiful double clears each, sadly there were bs juniors competing in the same classes so they didn't make the placings but I am hugely proud of the confident, competitive rounds from each of them. This Sat is the first ever eventers challenge for all of the girls so lots of excitement there and the week after is the school sj teams again. Busy few weeks in the run up to what is lookingto be a great summer.
