You all looked fantastic🌍📚
To all Willow Class parents,
Olivia has lost her Ruishton cardigan. We have searched high and low with no joy. In a last ditch attempt, I'm wondering if any of the girls have taken it home by accident. It has her name in the label. Thanks, Kim Salt

CHRISTMAS JUMPER DAY 2022
Thursday 8th December
Christmas Jumper Day is Save the Children's annual event which raises money for children in the UK and across the world. Every December, millions of people across the United Kingdom (and beyond!) put on a festive outfit at their workplace, school or with friends and make a donation to help give children the magical future they deserve.
Please Do NOT bother buying a new sweater! They cost money and shopping is SOOOO boring.
Make your own. Just grab any old thing from the back of the cupboard and cover it with stickers, felt, tinsel, glitter, baubles, whatever. Yule look woolly wonderful!
This year will be TWICE as good as before. Every time you donate £2, the UK government has totally promised to give £2 to Save the Children too.
To donate to this wonderful cause, please use the QR Code below:

Mrs Cinicola was delighted to receive an email from a parent sharing how wonderfully polite and respectful you were too. Thank you for being great ambassadors for our school and making us all proud! :)
Year 3 prepared and presented a Remembrance service to the whole school (in church and in our hall). We could not be prouder of the courage, enthusiasm and respect that they have shown at such an important time.
Marvellous Maths in Maple Class

The children looked at vinyl, CD’s, DVD’s, vintage cameras, cameras from the early 2000’s, phones through time and even an old hair dryer! The children were disappointed however, to see that a floppy disk did not flop at all💾. 💽📀📸📽🎥📹🎞📟📠 Well done Ash!
It was the turn of Oak Class to deliver our Key Stage Two collective worship with the support of Donna and Jasmine today.

Today, we had our usual Recognition Collective Worship as a whole school and this week there was the wonderful addition of Miss Collier announcing the successful candidates for our new 'pupil roles and responsibilities' drive.
Applications for Eco Leader, Reading Champion and Digital Leader roles were plentiful and wonderful to read through. It was a difficult choice for the staff, but we are pleased to say today we were able to hand out badges to our new advocates across each of these areas. Congratulations to the successful pupils - please look after those badges!
Keep an eye out for further opportunities for responsibility roles coming up, including a new School Council (to replace Pupil Voice) and Sports Leaders.

Donate | Help Young People Get Mental Health Support
On Monday 10th October, it is ‘Hello Yellow’ day. It is a fundraising and awareness day that takes place each year on World Mental Health Day. Schools across the UK come together and dress in something yellow to show young people that they aren’t alone with their mental health. This could be a t-shirt, jumper, hair band, hat, scarf, badge or socks -something that can be worn along with our regular school uniform.
If you would like to make a donation, please click on the link below.

A huge thanks to the PTFA for generously funding the changes. Also on the way is £1000 worth of new books, funded by a book grant for schools.

With the very sad news of our Queen passing, I would like to pay our respect. As a Church of England School, she has served us as our leader for over 70 years, an incredible achievement I am sure you will agree. She is admired and known across the world and has undoubtedly left a lasting legacy.
Today both in class and during Collective Worship, we have supported the children in understanding what this means and taken the opportunity to remember our Queen and pay tribute to her life: writing messages and prayers; recognising for some, this may remind them of others who were close to them and they have lost. We understand that this could affect many children and others in our school community, and we are committed to supporting them as best we can during this difficult time.
I wish you all well in this strange time and in the words of Her Majesty: "The love will have been enough; all those impulses of love return to the love that made them. Even memory is not necessary for love.”
With best wishes,
We thank you, Ma'am, for your service.
