Thomas Adams is a unique School, Sixth Form and Boarding House with a wonderful history and a forward-thinking outlook.
Our community school in Wem, Shropshire has an excellent reputation. We embrace the culture of achievement across all modern values. There is respect, passion and commitment to achieving the best results for each student, regardless of their starting point.
The whole Thomas Adams School team strongly believes in producing well-rounded individuals. So this is not defined in pure terms of examination success; education is the cornerstone of why the School and Sixth Form are here but we value and encourage achievement in other areas. This includes the ability to continue learning after school, solve problems, develop strength of character and be active, informed citizens.
Thomas Adams School alumni are prepared for life in modern-day Britain.
Our Sixth Form is the perfect balance between School and University. It is large enough to offer a wide range of subjects for students but small enough to care. Students further benefit from our Enrichment Programme, where they can enjoy an array of extracurricular activities.
Adams House, our boarding facility, is a home away from home for our international students. We welcome pupils from all over the world, predominantly Europe, in fact just over the border too in Wales! The quality of care and support our Boarding House team provides has been given an โGoodโ at the latest Ofsted inspection.
