I have wanted to do this for ages!
I’m looking for an enthusiastic assistant for this new and exciting class coming soon. Please share with family and friends!

We’re in development stages of starting an inclusive class that will provide Drama & Dance for SEND Children.

We will be welcoming children of any physical ability to participate in these sessions which are for SEND participants or mainstream children more prone to inactivity.

The SEND needs range from autism, learning difficulties, special needs support, speech, language and communication needs. In addition to emotional and learning difficulties, visual impairments and physical disabilities.

The class will be creative and fun with opportunities to explore the creative world of performing arts 🎭

Opportunities with Your Space for older ones (18-25) looking to build friendships and do activities in an inclusive community during the holidays. Based in the Wrexham area so could easily suit those in Shropshire/Wrexham/Powys area

Fill | Young adults social This club is for young adult 18-25 years old to socialise during the holidays and we will be offering life skills to help support them on their journey to independence. The sessions will run 10am-3pm at a cost of £21.50 Non 1-1/ £54.50 1-1

I have been a bit unsure about whether to post this or not...first up both the drivers were OK as far as I'm aware at this point. Travelling with my 25 year old son today and we were stopped on the road as a van and truck had just collided. we didn't witness it...but arrived in the minutes after. My son is autistic...but we decided that rather than sit and wait...or turn the car around and drive away...that we would park up and see what we could do to help. We were the first on the scene and soon joined by two lorry drivers . One of the crashed drivers was trapped in the cab of his truck...conscious...but stuck and not much left of the cab. All I could be was a face, a voice, someone who cared. My son amazes me...his superpower is his calm, his logic, and his kind heart. He stayed with and reassured the other driver...the walking wounded. The response times of was swift...and as strange as it may sound...watching the professionalism of the services working together alongside was a privilege. I don't ever expect I will be in such a situation again...but so very proud of the amazing professionals we have who step up everyday as our emergency services. Proud too and very grateful to have had my son with me today...forever amazing.

What a wonderfully creative way of developing hand strength to support dexterity!

Spray bottles are an excellent tool for hand strengthening! When filled with old markers and water, they become a fabulous way to do some watercolor painting!

ADHD...where attention deficit is a regulation issue rather than a "missing" or "lacking" element.

Now tell...why is it movement breaks lose learning time? Research tells us that a child is more cognitively...as well as emotionally...and sensory regulated through movement...make their lights shine bright in your lessons!

My days are long...I rarely have weekends...that is the super power of ADHD...hyperfocus and and tangents...to find the right solutions for each and every young person I assess and work with

The next course starts on Thursday 19 January and will be run online as a virtual course.😴
