Really enjoyed this visit! Well done Telford & Wrekin Council, Harper Adams University and Telford College for bringing such a great opportunity to fruition locally for our younger generations to carry on their learning and develop their knowledge in appropriate and meaningful expertise that local businesses need.

Academy Trust careers leaders describe The Quad as 'exceptional' | Newsroom Careers leaders from Marches Academy Trust schools have described The Quad, the exciting new academic campus and enterprise hub in the heart of Telford, as ‘exceptional’ during a fact-finding visit.

Meeting the Royal Air Force at The Marches School was a great reminder of all the career opportunities in the services with many different professions available. When the Shawbury Air Base pilots were talking with the students they said, ‘if you can think of a job then it’s most likely that we have it in the RAF.’

Andrew put up a map of the region and showed the Marches School and Sixth Form students videos from mostly Shropshire Chamber businesses based there. Wow what a day! Now that is what I call a 'quality', 'meaningful' and 'fun' careers fair for all; students, teachers and businesses.

Over 50 businesses 'Stepping Up' to support the school, its students and ultimately help our region thrive.

It was great to present Career.Cards at this mornings Shropshire Chamber Oswestry Network meeting. Thank you for all members interest and engagement to 'Step Up' and support the young people in our schools by sharing their career journeys.
