We are open for 5 weeks during the Summer and bookings are now being taken. As well as our usual fun and engaging enrichment activities, we are introducing a range of music sessions including drumming, recorder and guitar.

It’s been a while since I last posted on my page. These are just a few crafts that were made over the last couple of terms. Looking forward to going over the park with the footballs, skipping ropes and outdoor toys😊 xx

What do we have to look forward to this half term at The Big House?

Our week will focus on ‘Values’. We’ll explore the key values of love, faithfulness, goodness, joy, peace, patience, kindness and gentleness through a range of engaging activities.

🧵 A craft workshop from Albrighton Craft Club
👩‍🍳 Cooking day- children will learn key cooking skills and make real life, useful recipes
🦎 A visit from the animal person
🐦 Eco day- exploring the outdoors and making bird feeders
⭐️ Clay workshop- a chance to make your own clay item to take home

Plus lots of our usual crafts, painting, stories, singing, sports, fun and games.

If you get chance to head over to St Andrew’s Church this weekend, check out Shifnal Childminders Christmas tree. The children worked really hard to make nativity crafts to hang onto the tree. 😊

Once again all the childminders and their mindees will be coming together to create the most spectacular tree. Don't forget to head down and give us a vote 😜🎄

The last few months have been mainly child led with lots of free play, the older children wrote and read/acted out to the younger ones. Craft was always on the table for those who wanted to create. 💕 Looking forward to September and welcoming old and new children to Nikki’s childminding x

Today wasn’t how it was meant to be, my lovely Year 6’s are all having to self isolate. It’s been a tough school year but super proud of how they have coped. It’s the first time I’ve had children leave me who have started from year one and it’s been a privilege to watch them grow and mature into wonderful and caring individuals 💕 I will miss you all xx
