After helping to cut our fruit and veg for snack my little one decided we should do our own little science experiment to see if the seeds we found would grow - we have had great success!! We may still be closed as a business but our EYFS learning continues as we observe growth, decay and changes over time in our garden … our 🍒 have born fruit, our 🍓 are in bloom! It’s a shame we have no other little friends to share it with just yet, in our new location, but rest assured I shall post on here when we’re ready to re-open and in the meantime … enjoy the sunshine ☀️ x

🌟Makaton Signing for Babies Courses Available Online 🌟

For those who are unfamiliar with Makaton it is the language programme of signs, symbol and speech used by Mr Tumble in the BBC’s Something Special .The great advantage of Makaton is the signs are the same throughout the UK and we use speech and sign, to enable users who are able to, to drop the sign and use speech alone when they feel ready to do so, making it perfect for use with babies and children in the Early Years.

Makaton Signing for Babies (MSB) is a fabulous Early Years course, teaching you signs and symbols right up to (and including ) that important potty training stage.

It can be great for helping ease Children’s frustrations and build their communication and language skills.

I can run MSB for parents, carers or professionals. It gives lots of ideas of how to introduce Makaton to babies and young children through stories, song and games.

I have worked within the Early Years sector myself for 18 years and incorporate Makaton into my own, Makaton Friendly setting, with great success.

Course length is 6 x 1 hour sessions but I’m more than happy to amend this to suit your needs, courses run in the evenings and at weekends.

We have now closed in Tidworth due to a posting to Pirbright. We should be back in 2 years, but in the meantime, a massive thank you to all the wonderful families we’ve had the privilege of working with, we wish you all all the very best, with healthy and happy futures ahead. We’re so very proud of everything you achieved with us and will remember each and every one of you so very fondly.

It’s with great sadness that we’ve had to say goodbye to much loved bunny Mopsey. She was a cheeky little girlie with so much character,we miss her so very much but after 12 years and 2 months we know she had a fabulous life.We love you # # #

I’m very pleased to announce that I now have a house in Tidworth and will hopefully be setting up again in the next few months. Everything has been submitted to Ofsted and we are currently just playing the waiting game!
