Red Room Pre-School

We have recently been learning about ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’ and drawing our own bears. We have learnt the ‘Teddy bears picnic’ song and ‘When Goldilocks went to the house of the bears’ song. 🧸🐻🐻‍❄️
We are closed for the summer holidays and reopen on Monday 4th September.

This week we have been retelling the story of The Three Billy Goats Gruff. We drew a picture or your Troll.

We have been drawing circles and triangles to draw rabbits. Happy Chinese New Year of the rabbit 🐰🧧

We have been reading the Owl Babies story and made Owls using leaves and collage materials 🦉🍁🍂

We hope you have all had a great summer break. Just a reminder that we are open from Monday 5th September.

The Snail and the Whale

We are looking ”Under the sea” we made colourful fishes, an Octopus and a large shark. We danced to the song, “There,s a hole in the bottom of the sea and drew a picture of the Snail and the Whale

Children drew the Giant from Jack and the Beanstalk. We planted runner beans and sunflower seeds.

We have been learning 'The Three Billy Goats Gruff' story. Pictures are of the Troll in the story.

This week we have been cooking blackberry and apple crumble and apple pies, exploring the school equipment and our indoor and outdoor spaces. We are also making scarecrows using sticks from our environment.

Since September we have been far too busy having fun to update the page! We have made bread,salt dough and soup. We’ve celebrated Halloween, Diwali and fireworks. We have also looked at the change of seasons collecting leaves in the churchyard. Next week we fly to space in our rocket!
