A friend has contacted me...
Mike, a lass I know came to me last night asking if I'd like an eight month old , male husky.
The current owners life has changed so that they don't have the time to spend with him and he's becoming a handful!
Quite rightly he needs rehoming and training soon.
They don't want anything for him, just the help and care he needs.
So, if you or anyone you may know would like a husky let me know mate.

After years of patient tutelage from some great trainers and personal friends (and the occasional bellow of frustration), I recently applied for membership of the Guild of Dog Trainers.
This arrived last night...
Many thanks to Andy Row, Dion Burke, Cheryl Blake, Rod Dunn and many others I doubt not, for guiding me on the journey.

Welcome again to the Yellow Dog UK wonderful world of common sense. Would you go up to a stranger in the street and give her a hug or stick your hand in their face? Well I wouldn't but it happens all to often unfortunately with dogs .... What do you do when you can see someone approaching you and your dog?

Hot weather and dogs in cars etc. -
If the dog appears to be in distress, phone 999.
If you feel that the police may not arrive in time, remember that if you break a window, you may have to defend yourself in court over criminal damage.
However -
Legally, you can commit damage if you believe the car owner would consent to it if they knew the dog was in danger.
DON'T LEAVE DOGS IN CARS, CARAVANS OR CONSERVATORIES IN HOT WEATHER.
EVEN 22C OUTSIDE CAN BECOME 47C IN A VEHICLE IN A SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME.

Great weekend at the Milton Keynes Big Doggy do with of and Mikayl my decoy.
Thanks to The Parks Trust for hosting.
Bar the odd firearm failure and Gaia being a little stubborn the displays went well and to top it off Ajax won 1st prize in the Sunday Golden Oldies class, with a great swag bag courtesy of Milton Keynes veterinary group.

Back from what I'd say was a successful trip to Audley End for their WW2 event.
Thanks to Griffin Historical, Mikayl for decoying, Abs Wisdom for the assistance following an injury to Mikayl, the EH event and site staff, and of course the public.
Also Graham the first-aider for these photos.
Hopefully more to follow.
