We get abuse for being in the correct lanes.

We get abuse for sticking to the speed limits.

We get abuse for slowing down because it says so on the road.

We get abuse for pulling up outside your house.

We get abuse because the driver didn’t set off quick enough.

We get abuse for stalling.

We get abuse for not tailgating the car in front.

We even get abuse for not blocking junctions and not going into a box junction.

We get abuse when you kindly let a learner out but they don’t react as quick as you would like them too.

Please don't beep your horn, it really won't speed us up.

Until we teach one of your family to drive then for a short time the abuse stops, but only for a short time.

We're asked not to use a person's car to practice parallel park, but when we enquire where the person practiced their parallel when learning they reply a car at the side of the road - but that doesn't mean you can use mine !!!!!

We have all had to learn to drive, it’s funny how quickly we forget what it’s like.

We forget what it’s like to approach your first roundabout, the first parallel park, the first crossroads.

Please have a thought for us and our Students, it could be your son, daughter, niece, nephew. We can’t use a class room and trust me we don’t like holding you up anymore than you do!

A massive congratulations to Amber who passed her driving test this morning on the first attempt at Bury DTC. Cool and collected as always, made the get up worth while.

Please welcome Catherine to the drivers club. She nailed her practical test this morning on her first attempt with 2 driver faults at Bolton test centre. Awesome drive around well done.

A massive congratulations to a shy Aanchal who passed her test today at Bury test centre on her 1st attempt with 5 driver faults.

‼️ No doubt as your all aware the country has gone into stage 4 - this means face coverings are no longer mandatory from 19th July where people can socially distances themselves from one another ‼️

However, according to guidance set out by the government and the fact that local cases of COVID are still on the rise I am requesting that everyone still wear a face covering for our lessons 😷 not only for our safety but our families also.

I can appreciate this is not an ideal situation for everyone, especially with this heat 🥵 as we cannot socially distance in the car, I feel it’s best. I will be sure to constantly review this every few weeks.
