Another busy few weeks at Rainbows Childminding - Christmas Parties, Ice play, exploring the snow, Christmas activities, meeting new friends, visiting soft plays, library, play and stays, walks, baking and so much more 🎅🏻❄️🤶🏻🎄

Yesterday my little Rainbows loved making Christmas chocolate corn flake cakes. They mixed the melted chocolate into the cereal & we talked about the smell of the chocolate saying, “Ooh chocolate”, “ mmmmmm “, “ yummy” as they took it in turns to mix it together. The children concentrated while using spoons to scoop out the mixture to fill their cupcake cases & then placed the festive sprinkles on top…… they tasted absolutely delicious too 😋 YUM 😋

We have enjoyed our Christmas activities / outings / parties so far, I wonder what else we will get up too 🌈🎅🏻🎄🤶🏻 🌈

Scarlet fever, Hand foot and mouth, and Strep A are rapidly on the rise. Please be vigilant for signs & symptoms.

What a great few hours we have had at the pumpkin patch this morning. The Rainbows loved exploring, running & climbing around in the field & looking at the different shapes, colours, sizes & patterns of the pumpkins. The Rainbows picked their own pumpkins & had fun wheeling the barrow about.

Today we have been learning about Diwali, & have made Rangoli Patterns, created Henna Designs, made Diva Lamps, Lanterns & listened to stories 🪔

Last Friday we had another super sessions at story rangers!!

This time we blasted off into space. The little Rainbows listened to an interactive story of ‘ Aliens Love Underpnats’ followed by many activities / crafts / songs which we all connected to the story.

When we got back, we continued the fun by making play dough, drawing, painting & crafting lots of our own Aliens 👽

A Lovey little Autumn song to share with your little ones!

A lovely song to sing with children for . The children can dance with ribbons or material, which is also great for developing the physical skills.

A lovey session today with story rangers, followed by the park, gruffalo crafts, dressing up, singing, music, jigsaws & the garden 🌈

We had a Lovely few hours out yesterday at Pillatonn, and our new little rainbow loved it 🥰.
