Developing our garden space! πͺ΄
Over the past few weeks, we have been developing some of our garden spaces. We have turned our planting area into a dinosaur land and fairy garden. We have been using our fairy garden to encourage children to give their dummies to the fairies. π§
We have also extended areas in our mud kitchen and added in various resources such as dried oranges, herbs, potion making items and dried flowers. πΉ
The next place was the play house. We have turned this into a cafe which sells; pizzas, ice creams, coffees, cakes and tea. βοΈ
The children have really enjoyed using the new areas and we have noticed more imaginative play as well as an increase in focus, language and engagement. π π¦ π§ββοΈ π¦

The broad beans are sleeping in their blankety bed π΄ π« πΆ
Recently, we have been providing various vegetables in the pre school role play area such as parsnips, carrots and broccoli. This week, the pre schoolers have been particularly interested in the broad beans. Hannah sat with them and opened up the broad beans to look inside. This then led to the pre schoolers asking how they grew. Using this interest, they then planted their own broad beans. During this, they spoke about what plants need to grow. π±
Weβd love to see any planting you have done at home π· π₯
