What a wonderful leavers service in church on the final school day of the year. Thank you to all that made this another wonderful school year to remember!
Great athletics tournament for class one’s final PE session of the year.
From making bird boxes, relaxing in hammocks to lighting fires and toasting marshmallows and making bees to hang in the woods, the children all had a lovely last session in Forest School this week!
This week the children applied their design and technology skills to create their own healthy sandwiches. They then tasted their own sandwiches and asked their peers to taste them to let them know what they thought.
We love our weekly sessions with Jojingles.com/midcheshire2chester
She definitely gets our vote!
If all our parents would support Cheryl and vote as well we would really appreciate it.

Our Good Samaritan Awards for this week 🌟
What a wonderful dress rehearsal to the rest of the school and the friendship group. Well done class 3!
Year one had great fun making their healthy smoothie. They tasted delicious. They asked their friends what they thought of them to help with their evaluation.
EG brought in her chicks. They were so soft and fluffy! When the classroom was really quiet the children could hear them cheeping.
A huge thank you to everyone who dropped off bags to school. They were collected on Thursday and with a massive weigh in of 348kg. The company collecting said it was one of their biggest ever pick ups. We wait to hear how much cash this will make for the school but it should be approximately £200!
Pixie loved her daily mile on Monday.
The children walked alongside her, but made sure that she had plenty of space.

Day 2 at the Residential saw the children using their climbing skills and having lots of fun on the zip wire! A great time had by all.
Class Two had a fantastic time on their Residential to Tattenhall this week. From building shelters and trying out hammocks, to roasting some dough on the campfire...day 1 was a lot of fun!
Congratulations to the staff, children and families of

Year 6 from both schools in the federation had a lovely time at the Chester Cathedral Leavers’ Service followed by a boat trip and an ice cream! Antrobus St Mark's C of E Primary School Great Budworth CofE Primary School
After our tree identification game, class 1 continued their theme of bugs by making a dragonfly. They found the correct sized stick to hold their beads and wound on and twisted pipe cleaners for the legs and wings.
After completing our bug doors, Tuesday’s plan was to use pyrography to decorate the covers. Sadly the sun was lacking, so instead we made our designs using string, coated it in Vaseline then burnt it. Unfortunately the photo of the completed designs was blurred by the rain.
A very wet morning in Forest school made our activities a little more challenging than normal. We did make good progress on our bird boxes though, they should be finished next week. Great job class 3!
What a wonderful fete on Saturday!
Thank you to everyone who supported school and the event. It was lovely to see so many of our pupils involved in the retinue, parade, maypole and singing.
