Some personal development activities for Kernow Initial Teacher Education candidates today 👏 what a great way to end the week!

Here at Kernow Initial Teacher Education, we are busy interviewing for our next cohort of trainee teachers! Candidates have been displaying their vast range of teaching skills and here are two examples. We learnt how to wrap a gift using only one piece of sticky tape and we also got to make a 2-minute chocolate mug cake!

Teachers from Kernow Learning and Cornwall Education Learning Trust said they were brimming with excellent take-aways for the classroom today after another collaborative 'Exceptional Teaching and Learning Programme' session.

Wendron C of E Primary School celebrated a visit by Bishop Philip today. He led worship, describing his role as a shepherd to the people of Cornwall, pointing the way forward whilst holding the hand of Jesus. Our Worship Warriors gave him a tour of the school and he took lunch with this week's Citizens.

Everyone at Kernow Learning is delighted for Katie Robinson and her mum Sharon Rivers Redman (Kernow Learning Senior Business Services Officer), as they celebrate her joining the Senior Lionesses and becoming a squad member following her phone call from the England Manager last week!

Here she is arriving at St George's Park yesterday. An England call-up at just aged 20! What an achievement for this young Cornish girl and former The Bishops' C of E Learning Academy pupil!

It's outdoor classroom day - we are getting ready to make our pumpkin soup - it's going to be delicious, and we'll enjoy it around our fire pit. We have collected the seeds to plant for next year - so many curriculum links and so much fun!
