I know I don't post very often on here - partly because in my mind, there aren't any pretty pictures I can really show you (it's not like nail art or hair styles), and I can't be doing with those Live, Life, Love type meaningless memes. (I scroll right past when I see them elsewhere!)
But, I would like to connect with you all more.
I'm also conscious of not wanting to spam your feeds.
So what I thought I'd do, is share stories of success - no names of course; tell you about the latest themes that are troubling people, and talk about solutions.
For example, I'm currently on a real streak of solving social anxiety after lockdown. Clients are feeling they have to go out again for work etc, but some have lost their confidence in the last two years.
Also health anxiety is scoring quite high right now - especially in under 40s when traditionally, that age would seldom have thought about mortality.
Ah yes, and some good news. Fear of Flying is back!!!! Woohoo! Because we're finally allowed back on holiday again. I love sorting this one.

Just a quick update on the online therapy sessions - which are going BRILLIANTLY!

We've been using Zoom for nearly two weeks now and everyone is LOVING the sessions because you can do it in bed!

So if you are one of my existing clients and you're fretting about our upcoming appointment - don't! You'll be fine.

And if you know anyone who is freaking out right now with anxiety, panic attacks, bad sleep, phobias (especially germ phobias!), OCD etc. right now, please share with this with them because now has never been a better time to get this fixed.

In response the Covid-19 outbreak, I would like to reassure clients, both current and prospective, that I am working to ensure your treatment programmes continue to run smoothly as possible while keeping you safe.

Therefore the following measures are now in place:

I am now seeing clients online only until the lockdown is lifted.

I have now made my services available online, via Zoom conferencing. This will work fine for both the consultation and the therapy sessions as you won’t have to leave the house.

Existing clients for the next three weeks at least will have all their bookings swapped to Online appointments. This is so you can receive the link to our Zoom 1-2-1 conference which will allow you to enter the session.

This is just a quick update for current clients regarding appointments over the next few weeks.

As it stands, my office is still open for face-to-face appointments and extra care is being taken to minimise the spread of germs with additional office cleaning etc.

If you have an appointment, and you are safe to do so and not in isolation, please do attend. If you are in isolation, from Monday, I'll be trialing online appointments via Zoom.

Please let me know ASAP if you want to request an online appointment so I can swap your appointment to Online and send you the relevant information.

One of the big recurring themes in my clinic recently has been anxiety. It's that horrible stomach-churning feeling of dread of something which may or may not happen.
