It's been so lovely this month seeing our nurseries and families work together for ! 🥰

Lots of nurseries have gathered old toys and clothes to take to their local charities, and the children have loved going to drop them off and pick out new toys and books for their rooms! 🧩

Did you know that this week is UK Savings Week? 💰

This is a nationwide initiative set up to share ideas on how to start saving money! 💷

Our wonderful Basford nursery packed up a jungle themed picnic and headed to their local care home recently to visit their friends over a lunch packed with animal themed activities! 🐯

Intergenerational learning is something we regard very highly here at Kids Planet - we're so very lucky to have lots of partnerships across the UK with local organisations who are happy to co-host 'mix and mingle' sessions so our littlest ones can learn from and make friends with the more experienced generations. 🥰

And learning aside...look at how much fun we all have! 🤸‍♀️

Our July team wellbeing event was 'National Picnic Month' 🥗🥖

This is something we always take part in with the children, but we brought into our team meetings, staff rooms and head office to get it on the fun ourselves! 🥰

The aim was to create a relaxing, fun outdoor experience focused on wellbeing, team building and relaxation! We think we did a pretty good job! ✨🧘

Yesterday afternoon for 'National teddy bears picnic day' babies and tots shared a picnic together along with their favourite teddies 🧸🥰

Toddlers have been on an exciting trip to the local football ground today and this links in so well as England are in the euros tonight 👏🏻⚽️

They enjoyed have a look around the grounds and talking about the things they could see….we can’t wait to go back!

Today as the Wimbledon Championship begins we have been using the racket's and balls to practice and share our skills 🎾🏓

This afternoon in babies we have added different fruit to our water tray along with a range of different utensils, we showed a great interest in squeezing, mixing, splashing and tasting! 🍋🍊

We have had lots of fun out on trips so far this week….we have been looking at all the different flowers and leaves and also following our interests of animals visiting the ducks at the pond 🚶☀️🦆🌸

Yesterday, the toddlers have found a snail in the garden! We nicknamed him 'mr snail' and spoke all about where snails live, their favourite food- which they said is grass and leaves and how they have a shell on their backs. We made the snail a home in the pan digging up the bark and took care of him. The toddlers then decided they had to find his family so we went on a snail hunt around the garden using the scoops to dig up the bark and look around. To follow on from the toddlers interests we then went on a walk in the local area to see what other mini-beasts we could find 🐌🐛🐞🪳

We hope all our special Dads, Grandads, uncles and all other important people in our children’s lives enjoyed your breakfast this morning!

Today pre-school were out in the garden and pre school noticed their own shadows and their friends shadows. To enhance on this we got the chalk and drew around our friends shadows.
