Year 6 enjoyed a fantastic trip to Trafford Watersports Centre recently. They really deserved the time to try new opportunities after all the hard work towards their SATs.
Woodville sure start centre is turning into a family hub! This is a great opportunity for the area! Here are the details of their opening day.

Year 1 enjoyed a fantastic trip to Smithills Open Farm before the holiday. There was so much buzz around what a great day it had been!

Reception enjoyed a wonderful trip to RHS Bridgewater on Monday. There was so much to see and learn about and their behaviour was excellent! Everyone should be very proud of themselves (including all the staff and parent helpers)!

Reception have been on walks around our local area this week. They have been looking at maps of the local area and thinking about what they can add to their own maps.
We have continued to learn about the Coronation this week. We have enjoyed watching videos from Saturday too. Here are some of our photos of us celebrating last Friday.
We are really excited to welcome M&M productions next week. They will be performing 'The Secret Garden' on Wednesday 17th May to Years 5, 3, 1 and RF. They will perform to Years 6, 4, 2 and RL on Wednesday 24th May. This is as part of our delayed World Book Day celebrations 🥳
The whole school has had a great time learning all about King Charles III this week in preparation for his coronation tomorrow! We had a fantastic celebration today - more photos to follow after the weekend!

Year 6 really enjoyed their bread making session recently with our kitchen staff. These photos are making us hungry!
Due to our focus on reading this year, we are going to celebrate World Book Day later in the year and in a slightly different way.

Strike Action Update - 28th February
We are hoping to keep the school open on the strike day for most of our pupils. We will inform you of any changes to these arrangements.

Reception have been reading 'The Day the Crayons Quit.' Today they have found out that all their classroom resources have quit 😱 they are now busy making a plan for how they can get them back!
