Year 3 Roald Dahl Museum.
Year 1 had an exciting day last week. We started our new topic 'Real Life Heroes'. For this unit of work, we will be looking at significant figures who have made impact or changed history. To get us ready for this unit of work, we had our WOW day based on significant figures who we might know more about now.
Greta Thunberg
Sir David Attenborough
Elon Musk
The children got a chance to plant radish seeds and create their own save the world posters. We then used a template of the Tesla cars and made our own 3D model. Finally we discussed the importance of recycling and how plastic could be used. The children created their very own under the ocean habitat and filled their bags with blue water for a sensory feel.
