The children have thoroughly enjoyed participating in the Now Press Play interactive experiences over the past few weeks. Now Press Play is an immersive audio experience where the children listen to a story and perform the actions!
In Year One, the children enjoyed learning about Amazing Animals in the first half term. The children enjoyed going on an adventure learning all about animal habitats. Not only did the children develop listening skills, but their imaginative skills too!
In Year Five, the children listened to a story about World War II... a great way to start the new topic and transport the children back in time!
In Year Six, the children listened to the Pompei experience. The children commented that Now Press Play was a great way to listen to the story and they felt like they were there in the middle of the action!
Many people know about Florence Nightingale but what about Mary Seacole? Mary Seacole was a British-Jamaican doctress and merchant, who travelled to the Crimea to heal soldiers on the front lines against all Odds.
Harriet Tubman saved over 700 enslaved people through the Underground Railroad & during the battle of the Combahee River.
