Former residents of International Students House in London. Goats was started back in October 1956 by Mary Trevelyan as a place international students studying in London could come together for support and to forge friendships spreading all over the world.
The name ‘Goats’ came about after Mary’s chance meeting with a group of African students, who mentioned to her that they would be ‘lost goats’ in London without her. Soon after, with the help of Mary Trevelyan and the Goats Club, International Students House was born; offering accommodation to International Students studying in London. Goats now serves as the alumni association of International St
