The Ballet Library in its 2nd week , launched on World book day, open to Pre - primary and Primary ballet students. Mostly ballet and dance books and of course the odd Guinea pig book, and one particular book written by a friend of mine , elisha_x Your book has been chosen already! Im delighted its a wonderfully illustrated, inspirational book of hopes and dreams, that teaches children they can be anything they want to be!…. Books are part of my life , therefore their part of my schools! 📚🩰📚🩰

Plié is a fundamental ballet move and is often the first thing a dancer learns. It involves bending the knees while keeping the torso upright and is used in many different combinations and dance styles. The new short film "Reflect," part of Walt Disney Animation Studios' series "Short Circuit," tells the story of Bianca, a young ballet student whose love of dance is threatened by her insecurities about her reflection in the mirror.

“I just want people to feel good about themselves when they watch ‘Reflect,’” explains director Hillary Bradfield. “There’s a lot of negative noise out there about what you’re supposed to look like, especially in a performing art or sport. Bianca’s journey is about accepting herself. She dances through her fears, and takes on the thing she is most afraid of. In the end, she can look at herself in the mirror, which she couldn’t do before, and love herself.”
