Did you know that Busy Bees is the only independently evaluated early years curriculum in the UK? 🐝

Last year, we launched a new curriculum called Bee Curious, which we rolled out across our UK centres in September 2024.

Our curriculum was recently evaluated by The Open University and here are some key points from their assessment...

✔️ It goes beyond the government's Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

✔️ Its principles are based on scientific research.

✔️ It is fully adaptable to each unique child.

We are extremely proud of this evaluation from The Open University and would like to thank our fantastic team for their efforts in delivering this curriculum. 🎉

We are excited to announce that our new centre in Glasgow Lenzie is now open!

This is an exciting opening for the Busy Bees Scotland Team as it's our first new build centre in Scotland. This is a significant milestone for Scotland and for our Managing Director, Yvonne Smillie, who is launching the centre in her hometown.

Busy Bees Lenzie features bright and spacious learning environments with plenty of room for children to play and explore, including creative play areas, large outdoor spaces, a living nature wall, and bespoke furniture.

Last week, we welcomed Scotland’s First Minister, John Swinney to our Livingstone nursery.

John spent the day interacting with the children and seeing first-hand how Busy Bees supports early years development.

Our team has had an incredible year, and we are thrilled to celebrate our success in winning three prestigious awards! 🎉

We kicked off our celebrations by receiving the 'Most Transformational Culture' award at the Reward Gateway ceremony.

Next, we were honoured with the 'Workplace Culture' award at the Personnel Today event.

To cap off our celebrations, we proudly won 'Best Employee Engagement Strategy' at the Hr Excellence awards in London last night.

Congratulations to everyone who contributed to this success. You have made us proud, and we look forward to building on this momentum in 2025!

Across the UK, we’ve been busy clocking up the miles to raise funds for our charity partner BBC Children in Need.

From trikes and bikes to scooters and everything in between, our Busy Bees families and colleagues have been rolling together to help us reach our goal of covering 874 miles as part of the Big Trike Ride for BBC Children in Need. 🛴🚴‍♂️

Our teams have also been hosting bake sales, raffles and parties, and have had a special visit from Pudsey.

We’re so proud of the effort, energy, and BIG smiles we’ve seen from everyone taking part. 🥰 Every donation made is helping to support children and families across the UK. Thank you for being part of this incredible journey! 🙌
