Just leaving this one here.....
So dinner tonight steamed salmon dressed in lemon and dill with couscous and salad....
Part of the reason why I am now over 30lb down in weight from last year (more than 2 stone!) And I am at an 8 inch loss in body composition all over since 1st April this year.
The other reason is Tom Davenport my PT...has trained me since last year. Always pushing what I think are my limitations...then he helps me find I have more to give...and absolutely ruins me every session 😂 Thank you!
I am so proud of myself...I never thought I would get to this...still some to go but I am smashing it! BOOM 💥

Yeah, but I’ve got one of dem slow metabolismss.. I’ll go to the Drs and get some shakes..

Is that the reason though?

Or are you looking for an excuse because you have the best stocked crisps and sweet cupboard..

Or maybe you may have 2 glasses of wine 3/4 times a night you forget about when asked why you’re not losing bodyfat.

For sure, over time there will be slight changes in resting metabolic rate..

But your daily energy expenditure can be changed.

Do you find yourself largely inactive and sedentary through your day to day life?

Rather than sit back and make an excuse, be proactive and take ownership of your daily expenditure & what you put in your mouth.

Nobody else can get your daily steps in for you, nobody else can train for you..

If you've been trying to shift some weight and things just aren't moving, check to see if you are both accurately and consistently tracking ALL of the calories you consume (ALL OF THEM)....it's easy to forget the bag of wotsits you nailed in your afternoon meeting....if you spend time HONESTLY tracking your caloric intake🧐 (more than 3 days ideally....try weeks) and things still don't move....then you're more than likely eating too much and moving too little.

99/100 people are physically able enough to take control over the outcome and make a positive change....up to you though.....suppose it's easier to binge watch on Netflix with crisp butties and blame a ‘slow metabolism’ instead hey!

When to change your training plan

If your:

1.Progressing each week
2 Enjoying the sessions
3. Injury free

Why would you?

Don't be led into changing your programs every 4 weeks to 'keep your body guessing’

Trainers or Gyms that do this have no clue...

Keep the fundamentals in place and ensure it correlates with your goal.

Progression is never linear 📈 but be patient.

The ex*****on of a plan is far more important than trying to find the perfect one.

IF your adherence starts to waver or progression begins to stall, Reassess, re-evaluate and train with intensity.

Pssst... IF your TRAINER who you pay good 💰 to be coached doesn’t have a plan on them In person during the session, ask you about the session post training and give you homework... you’re not with a decent Trainer... sorry 👀

Patience......
:
It’s our nature to want the results of our efforts, well, um, yesterday.

So when I meet business owners/ clients who feel like it’s not happening fast enough, I look them in the eye and say…

“Just. Keep. Going…”

“It’s on its way.

“Stay in positive expectation!”

“The day you plant the seed is not the day you eat the fruit.”

Pray (meaning, stay focused on the positive outcome you want) and move your feet (take consistent action).”

That’s how it will manifest. But, if you grow impatient, lose faith, and stop moving forward because you’re not seeing the results quickly enough, then the fruit won’t ever arrive.

Many parents find it difficult finding time in their busy daily regime (especially now) to train, get into decent shape or maintain a decent fitness level.

All parents feel they don’t have time time to exercise, we are too busy getting up at 5am, tackling the newborn, arguing with the 4 year old, running after toddlers, driving back and fourth and doing daily routines. Then chilling when the kids are in bed for that hour before they wake!

Sound familiar??

With our busy lives, you NEED to set aside time for exercise, and prioritise as you would anything else, because if it never happens it will be left to chance!!

Working out gives you energy, helps you lose weight, keeps you fit, keeps you in shape, improves circulation and mood and relived depression and anxiety in an instant!

You owe it to yourself and your children to be as healthy as you can!

I’m Back!!!

As some of you may or may not have heard, I have left my place of work In Luton.

This being said I have now got some slots in my diary.

I have a place of work already but I’m just awaiting final confirmations and some other bits before I get the green light for one to ones.

Meanwhile I have been working on a coaching system online, sending my clients weekly plans and using 24/7 contact (WhatsApp) to keep them accountable.

Every one has had decent results.

These sessions are ideal for:

High protein breakfast!

This is one of my favourites..

As I’ve started tracking my calories again I’ve mainly been aiming for my calorie goal and protein target.

Pack of Ham hock Tesco’s
100g spinach
100g of mushrooms
2 x Eggs

As you can see, 60g of protein In a breakfast hits a huge chunk of your goal, and makes you feel set up for the day.

If cooking for two, cut the ham into half a pack and have 2 eggs each to still hit a whopping 30g of protein still.

Enjoy this meal everyone, simple to make and tastes great!
