Livery Packages

We have some livery spaces coming up at Liscombe Park EC. Stables will be available from 1st June 2023. There is space for 2 full liveries. Livery Packages At Liscombe Park we offer a range of different options to suit you and your horse. Whichever livery option you choose our team of experienced and knowledgeable staff will be on hand to care for your horse.

Come and join us for a pony day on Monday May 8th. Children will ride twice, catch their ponies in from the field, turnout afterwards and enjoy a hot lunch from the café. Please go to the website to book. Email us at [email protected] if you have any questions.

With Christmas fast approaching, remember that we offer gift vouchers for riders from all ages from 4 upwards, everyone is welcome, from complete beginners to experienced riders.

Vouchers can be redeemed and used for all lessons and school holiday activities. Gift vouchers are applied directly to the recipient's account, credit can then be spent at their leisure.

Vouchers can be purchased in any denomination over £5.00.

How to Purchase a Voucher

1. You can sign in as a guest user, or, if you already have an account then log in, go to your ACCOUNT page. At the bottom of the page, you will see an option to choose a voucher. Use the bar to select your chosen amount.

2. Add the voucher to your basket, ready for you to pay. Remember, items only remain in your basket for 30 minutes, so complete the payment before it expires.



3. Once you have completed the payment you will receive an email with a unique code. The code can then be redeemed on the recipients L.P.E.C account, the voucher will then show as credit on the riding account and can be used to make a payment. PLEASE DO NOT USE THE CODE DIRECTLY ON THE PAYMENT PAGE, IT MUST BE REDEEMED.

Hallowe’en Spooktacular Show-jumping, Fancy Dress and Gymkhana Show. Suitable for Children who ride regularly on Wednesday Pony Club (speak to Emma or Alex if you’re unsure)

Our LPEC Pony Club’s are so much fun. Perfect for children who love to spend time on the ground with their ponies as well as ride. Included in each session is a stable management lesson, a fun group ride and time to play ponies in between! We have sessions after school on Mondays (level 2) Tuesdays (level 2-3) and Wednesdays (level 3-4). Email us at [email protected] for more information.

The countdown to our summer holiday schedule is on! We have pony mornings suitable for children over 5 level 1&2. Pony afternoon suitable for riders level 2&3. There is also a clear round jumping show with training for our more experienced riders every Wednesday through august. Calling all small business owners who offers workshops or classes for adults or children! We have a cosy cafe available for hire and we’re looking to branch out to local businesses as a base to hold classes at. Our bright, welcoming cafe has seating for up to 24 people indoors (outside space also available) toilets and ample free car parking. We serve fresh cakes, hot and cold drinks and light meals. Please get in contact with us ASAP if you are interested.

We are looking for permanent weekend cover for our café onsite at Liscombe Park E.C. Successful candidates will be required to prepare food, cook, and serve customers. Our café is mainly for our riding school and show clients at Liscombe, we mainly serve cakes, chips, toasties hot and cold drinks. Some experience necessary and will need to be a quick learner. Candidates will need to be polite, punctual, and reliable. Pay will reflect your experience. Saturdays 9am-6pm. Sundays 9am-4pm. Please send your C.V to [email protected].

We have added extra private lessons for tomorrow and Thursday. Mostly suitable for children levels 1&2, but there’s also a few slots for adults and higher grades too. Lessons can be booked now through your online account. Not got an account? It takes a few minutes to sign up and add a rider to your account, you can then book in. Easy peasy!

Come and join the fun for our Easter holiday activities. There’s something for everyone with pony mornings, afternoons and longer sessions too. The evenings are finally getting longer, and the sun is even shining for us, hurrah! While it lasts we are adding extra private lessons for after school. These are dependant on the weather and the arenas/ instructors available so will be added when we can fit them in. We have two vacancies for a job role working on our busy livery yard and riding school. Ideal applicants will be punctual, passionate about horses, and hardworking and have their own transport. The job role would be four days a week, to include one weekend day.
Jobs will include general horse care, mucking out, turning out and tacking up e.t.c. They will be part of a small team of young adults and will not be expected to work alone but will need good initiative.
We are open to either taking on a younger member of staff as an apprentice or can offer a full-time role for a more experienced person. Pay will reflect experience.

NEW FOR 2022.

We are welcoming mums (and dads) to come along for a group riding lesson whilst their pre-schooler takes part in a fun dance group. Aimed at mums who have some riding experience, no matter how long ago! We will work from the basics up and get you fit and enjoying some time for yourself!

Children aged 2-5 will join Mel* for a fun, engaging dance/movement group in our cafe, whilst you enjoy a group ride in the riding school next door, children can look through the window and see their mums/dads riding. Everyone is welcome to stay for a cup of coffee and well deserved cake afterwards.

These are new for January 2022. Lessons will be on Monday's from 10am-10.45am. To book, register on our website and add a rider to your account for each adult and child who will participate. Then go to 'Make a Booking' and book a place for each participant.

Adults £35.00, Children £10. No signing up fee or block payment required, just book as you go.

…and we’re back!!
We are over the moon to be able to announce that we have been clear from any cases of strangles for 8 weeks now! We have been extra cautious, and wanted to ensure that we were clear for longer than the standard incubation period.
We will now open back up to holding events, run by Equiventure. Please follow their page for updates of upcoming events. We are starting from 30cm upwards so there’s something for everyone. You can rest assured that we have taken every measure to ensure the safety of your horses whilst onsite.
We have also just passed our annual riding school license and are proud to continue to hold a 5* rating.
We can’t wait to welcome you all back. Familiar faces and new ones, all are welcome! Thank you to everyone for your ongoing patience and support.

Pony Day Activities in Summer Holidays
Join us for the summer holidays and take part in our summer pony camp days, on each Monday and Tuesday throughout the holidays from 10.30am-3.30pm. These activities are ideal for beginner children (Level 1 & 2). You’ll find more details on the website. Spaces must be booked on our online booking system.
For our more experienced children, we have Super Pony Days on each Wednesday throughout the holidays. These are from 10am-3pm including two riding sessions. Children will need to be graded a level 3 or higher to be able to book onto these.

We would like to thank you all for your kind and supportive words after our last post. We have now updated the website with our plan going forwards.

We are devastated to have to announce that we have a case of Strangles at LPEC. We are closing today with immediate effect, there will be no movement to or from yards from either our riding school horses or liveries’ horses until we have had clearance from our vets Farr and Pursey who we are working closely with.

All riding lessons for clients of our riding school also have to be cancelled with immediate effect. We will be sending out an email to all clients who have a lesson booked today.

NEW PONY DAY ADDED FOR HALF TERM!

Join us for a pony day from 10am-2pm on Tuesday 1st June. Children will enjoy all the usual fun and games included in our pony days, getting hands on time with their favourite ponies and join a fun group ride. Groups are being kept smaller to comply with COVID regs. Riders from the age of five upwards are welcome to join, all abilities welcome. Please see the Holiday Activities section of the website for further information. You’ll need to be registered on our website to book, pony day’s can be found under group lessons.

Gymkhana pony day!
Four hours of fun at LPEC. From 10am-2pm. The children will do all the usual fun activities included in a pony day, grooming, mucking out etc as well as fun games on horseback. Rosettes for each child. Lunch, drinks and snacks included. Please book your space via the website. Spaces can be found under group bookings. Suitable for children from lead rein up to level 3.

New lessons starting from Thursday 10th June. Lead rein lessons for four year olds attending preschool and available in the afternoons. 2pm-3pm. Sessions include a lead rein lesson, grooming and tea and cake in the café afterwards.

Join us for a pony morning this bank holiday Monday. 9.30am-12.30pm Monday 3rd May. Spaces are strictly limited. This activity will consist of catching ponies in, grooming, games, joining a fun group ride and learning all about how to care for ponies. A snack and drink is included. £60.00 per head.

We have some slots available for tomorrow for walk-outs, perfect for children either on the lead rein or just off lead-rein. A walkout will consist of an instructor leading your child out for a walk and trot around the fields, they are 1-1 sessions but if you’d like to book two children from the same household then please text Hayley on 07980007943 to arrange. Walkouts are live on the system now and ready to book.
