On this beautiful day, when everyone is seemingly smiling and happy, just remember this.
A smile can hide a lot. I smiled until I literally broke remember? No one knew the torment and torture that was happening in my mind!!!
I never knew what was happening to me was the onset of depression, I did not know just how common it was.
I did not know that the words I was speaking to myself is what was causing it all, until was too late!
I smiled until I broke, I smiled until my suicidal thoughts were occurring every 15 minutes, I smiled until I started hallucinating spiders running around my living room.
I didn't know then, that my then was not my forever.
YOUR now is not your forever!!!
Words-Thoughts, Thoughts-Feelings
Changing how we speak to yourself IS crucial, if you want to change how you feel.
You deserve to make yourself the priority, it is crucial that you do!
Be gentle on yourself, forgive yourself, love yourself and most of all
NEVER EVER give up your fight!
Happiness by change, not by chance.

NEVER EVER negotiate your worth with people.
If you look to the world for evidence you don’t belong then you WILL find it!
DO NOT look for evidence that you are not enough because you will always find it!
Our worth and belonging are NON NEGOTIABLE with other people!
You can negotiate a contract or a pay rise or anything like that but not your worth because if you do?you will be fitting in with their “way”, their “opinion”.
In that process you lose yourself and you find that you no longer belong to YOU anymore!
Do not negotiate your self worth

After suffering with my own mental health I became suicidal and found myself in a very dark place. I sought out a life coach who specialised in NLP and hypnotherapy. Amazed at the quick results I went on and trained with Ali Campbell (life coach to stars) in hypnotherapy and I trained in life coaching and NLP with Serenity by Kevin. In January 2019 I created CLC, Hypnotherapy, Coaching and NLP and my business is thriving with people who are suffering with mental health issues amongst other things. Also as a public speaker at various mental health events around the west of Scotland.

It’s too easy to get bogged down with the situation and logistics of it all.
It’s too easy to allow our minds to eat us alive.
Easier said than done I know, however, allow your mind to wander to beautiful side, the happy side.
What do you want?
List it, plan it and make it achievable for the other side of quarantine.

As a life coach I have heard many peoples issues and you know what crops up most times?
It’s like you’re little secret, you don’t want to share it with your friends and family because they don’t ‘get it’!
The truth is they probably don’t, unless they have been there themselves.
But it is good to share the burden, no they might not get it, but they can support you and comfort you and help steer you in the right direction of help.
Myself and many others ARE here to help rid of your angst, pain and problems, we are a network of people who don’t judge or criticise you and ARE here to support you.
It doesn’t have to be me but please choose someone.

A lesson on why selfishness helps no one not even yourself 💞
A teacher brought balloons to school and asked the children to blow them all up and then each write their names on their balloon.
They tossed all the balloons into the hall while the teacher mixed them from one end to the other.
The teacher then gave them 5 minutes to find the balloon with their name on it. The children ran around, looking frantically but as the time ran out - nobody had found their own balloon.
Then the teacher told them to take the balloon closest to them and give it to the person who’s name was on it. In less than 2 minutes everyone had their own balloon.
Finally the teacher said, “Balloons are like happiness. No one will find it looking for theirs only. Instead if everyone cares about each others they will find theirs as quickly as possible.” 🎈
*Cannot take the credit, saw it, loved it!!

Criticism
We spoke previously about negative self talk but what if the person talking negatively to you is not yourself but another?
Do you recognise if their criticism is constructive or destructive?
How long do you worry over what they say to you?
Does it hurt you?
Affect you?
Make you feel belittled or not worthy?
We are already so hard on ourselves in our own mind, do we really have to listen to another person who masks over their hurtful words with a pretence of love or caring?
The answer is simply
NO
You are worth so much more
You deserve more
You are the priority
