I adopted some plant babies in the past year and this is my favourite So beautiful. I forgot to water it last week and these like to be well hydrated so some of the leaves have curled up πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ


My certificate came through to confirm that I am also now a qualified yoga teacher! πŸŽ‰πŸŽŠπŸŽ‰πŸŽŠπŸŽ‰πŸŽŠ It's been a journey finishing this but I'm so pleased to be able to share this with others in the future. I was most proud of the feedback that my sessions are really inclusive and that is so important to me. People have many different - incorrect - preconceptions about yoga and Pilates involving age, shape, size, strength and flexibility but as many people as possible should be building Pilates and/ or yoga into their lives for physical and mental health and longevity. πŸ§˜β€β™€οΈ

A study has been published which highlights the benefits of Pilates and walking in lifting levels of depression, anxiety and quality of life in overweight and obese individuals but I think this applies to everyone. Walking is free and we live in an amazingly beautiful place. Go do it. And find a Pilates class that you like (mine? *cough* *cough* 😜)

Well we finished 2017 Pilates in style with Buble and candlelight. 😊 Thank you to everyone who came to practice this year and did something good for your bodies.
