It is our job as Early Years Educators to inspire and nurture an inquisitive mind in every child. This can be achieved from the environment we create, to the questions we ask.

These are invitations to play… the children do not need an explanation as to what to do with it. It’s about using their curious minds and creating play…

One of our wonderful staff members is heading off on maternity shortly and we are looking for a new staff member to step into her shoes.
We are a term time setting with 6 weeks of holiday club (2 weeks at Easter and 4 weeks in the Summer) which we ask for 6 days to be covered during that period.

This role is initially maternity cover however we are willing to make the role permanent should you and the manager agree you are a good fit for the team.

Hours range from 7am-6pm Monday to Friday but you will be given a set rota.

We are able to take on qualified or unqualified staff.

Our sister preschool in Nuthurst is recruiting. Treetops is a term time setting on the grounds of St Andrew’s School. We are a fairly new setting but we are growing and need new staff to complete our wonderful team.

We have job opportunities across our 2 incredible preschools based in Warnham and Nuthurst.

Positions Include:
⭐️Deputy Manager
⭐️Level 3 Practitioner
⭐️Unqualified staff member (willing to train to level 2 or 3)

*You must have a warm smiling face that makes every child feel special.

*You must feel comfortable telling everybody in the same room as you, that you are going to the toilet!

*The ability to sing in tune is not necessary, however the ability to sing out of tune in front of a crowd is essential.

*You must be able to distribute warm hugs as required.

*Possessing the skills required to rapidly count the heads of numerous moving small people is of the utmost importance.

*You must have a high level of comfort around talking about bodily functions. You must have a strong sense of smell to enable you to respond to said bodily functions.

*Pretending to eat playdoh creations realistically is required, and that of drinking numerous cups of pretend tea.

*You must have the ability to read a ten page fairytale, upside down, with at least 4 interruptions per page.

*You must be prepared to feel loved, special and important to many young children and their families.

There is simply no other job quite like this one.

My friends little girl has been dignoised with a brain tumour. Last week they recieved the devastating news that no parent wants to hear, Lexi's tumour is cancerous and has already spread to her spine in a matter of weeks.

Iv set up this go fund me page to try and raise some money to help the family who are struggling financially in already difficult times.

Usually I do a treatment of the month.

So I thought I would do something a little different.

It is my understanding that prom is coming up and with the forever rising costs its understandable that not everyone will be able to necessarily have the little luxuries that come with this so I would like to give my time to a young lady in need by helping her get ready for prom & make them feel special.

If you know of a someone, I would love to be able to give something back.

I have also received a really kind donation from a local family of two unworn prom dresses if these are in need too, thank you Sophie Quraishy xx

We have prepared an experiment activity for you!

It's a great way to familiarise your child with the lifecycle of a butterfly and share some interesting facts about the insect.🦋

1. Butterflies have four wings, not two as you may think.
2. The smallest butterfly is the Western Blue Pigmy, which is only 2cm across.
3. Butterflies need heat to be able to move. When you see them resting in the sunshine, they are warming up their wings so they can fly.
4. Butterflies can see colours that humans can’t.
5. Butterflies taste with their feet!😲

Leaf rubbings are a nature craft that's great for children to complete with little adult guidance. The idea is to find an interesting leaf, place it on a hard surface, put a piece of paper over it, and rub a crayon, colored pencil, or marker on the layered paper over the leaf to reveal a leaf rubbing. 🤩

Today we have prepared for you activity with a bit of physics! 🤓

All you need for it is a balloon and a metal spoon! 🤩

Have your child blow up the balloon and rub it on their head or carpet for at least 1 minute. Then slowly move the spoon to the outside of the balloon. The static electricity will create a “lightning” effect that's exciting but completely harmless.
