What a fantastic week is has been. We had a wonderful time playing in the snow and enjoyed a visit from Father Christmas. Lots of special memories made. 🥰

Our Halloween fun continues, with our spooky potions and yummy pumpkin biscuits!🎃

The children have been working very hard to make some beautiful Diwali decorations. We have also started our Halloween activities and we can’t wait to make some potions tomorrow. What an exciting time of year! 🎃

⭐️⭐️⭐️I am delighted to finally announce that we have been awarded ‘Outstanding’ following our recent Ofsted inspection!

A huge thank you to all of my families for your continued support. I can not thank you enough for taking the time to speak to the inspector and the lovely letters.

I will be providing all of my current families a copy of the inspection report this week. I am very excited to share it with you all! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

It has been a very emotional couple of weeks saying goodbye to some very special little ones. I am so proud of the kind, caring and polite children they have become and I am going to miss them all so much. We have made memories I won’t forget and they will always have a special little place in my heart. Thank you to their families for their support, kind words, cards and presents, I am forever grateful, I have been so lucky to have you all. ❤️😭

🧁🧁🧁 One of our lovely Mummy's is kindly making afternoon tea for the homeless. 🧁🧁🧁

Today the first group of children have been to choose some treats to contribute. Once we finished discussing who the treats where for and how we must always try to be kind, one of the children commented, 'I think the people will be happy now won't they?' 🥰

We are going to choose some more cakes throughout the week, if anyone would like to add to the collection then we will be happy to pass on to the amazing Mummy. Not only is her idea helping the homeless but it has also helped teach the children to be selfless, kind and caring towards others.❤️❤️❤️

Obstacle course fun this morning with the little super hero's! 💚

🌞🌞🌞 I have loved being back with these little gems today. They each did amazing turn taking, listening and thinking during our activity that helped us prepare for a super hot day.

I've also popped on some recent photographs, one of the activities we most enjoyed was our Italian restaurant, the older children practised cutting with a knife and fork and the younger children loved smelling the herbs. We had so much fun I think we should re open again this week!🌞🌞🌞

Another lovely day at the mini spa and of course we took full advantage of the new treatments!

The children have also taken part in a feelings activity. We took in turns to look in the mirror and talk about how we are feeling and why. We talked about what makes us feel sad and what we can do to make us feel happier such as, 'cuddle my mummy'. The children chose to finish the activity by drawing a sad alien and a funny alien and took them to their puppet show.

🌸For mental health awareness week 2022, we will be focussing on listening to one another, building positive relationships, supporting the children's wellbeing and encouraging kindness. 🌸

Today the children have taken some time out relaxing at our mini spa as well as taking part in yoga. The mini spa and yoga class will remain open throughout the week to our lovely little members, so keep an eye out for more photos!

🐷🐮🐣It has been a wonderful couple of weeks of Easter crafts, maths activities, puzzles and adventures.

At the farm the children most enjoyed feeding the animals, at the library the children did fantastic listening and at the church we learnt about why it is a special place and why we celebrate Easter.

Tomorrow we will enjoy our last Easter egg hunt and a little party. 🐷🐮🐣

🐻📚🌳This week we are celebrating World book day and Shrove Tuesday.

Today the children had a fantastic time joining in with 'We're going on a bear hunt' themed activities and they did an amazing job at decorating their pancakes. 🐻📚🌳

Tomorrow's book ' World in danger' and the activity is ready and waiting😬. Remember to bring along your favourite book from home to share at group time, it's going to be a busy day!

⭐️⭐️Now the children have chosen and put out carrots for Rudolph and everyone has gone home to make some magical memories... I would just like to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a great big thank you to my lovely families. ⭐️⭐️

I am super proud of each and every one of these children. Today we took one of our Christmas hampers to a local care home, the children where very friendly, polite and wished them all a merry Christmas.
Over the last few weeks we have had new children start and settling in sessions for those joining us in January, they have all settled so beautifully and have been welcomed by such caring and kind children who already attend. They have all recently amazed me in one way or another, from taking steps, forming letters, fantastic listening and understanding, lovely manners, counting or developing their speech, they are all super stars. I can not wait to make more memories with you all next year🥰❤️

The little ones have been enjoying our Christmas activities... we can not wait for more festive fun and our Christmas dinner next week! 🎄🎄🎄

🎁Our collection is growing!🎁

Thank you to those who have contributed lots of lovely treats for our care home and community library collection so far.

The children will be taking treats to the staff/volunteers at Scartho Community Library on Tuesday 14th December.

The children will then be delivering a hamper to The Meadows Care Home in Scartho on Friday 17th.

As our collection grows I will also be delivering a hamper to Waltham House Care Home and Ashgrove in Humberstone.

🎁Christmas...

This year I would like to make some Christmas hampers with the children for a local care home (for both the residents and staff to enjoy). It will need to be in Scartho or close by, but if anyone has a care home that's special to their family please let me know so I can contact them.

We are also thinking of some little treats for the volunteers/staff at our Scartho community library that we often pop to and attend the play group there.

The children will be involved in choosing some of the gifts, decorating the hampers and taking them. I will ensure we have plenty, however if anyone does want to contribute any chocolates,biscuits, cakes etc. we will be taking them mid December. 🎁

This week the children have listened very carefully as we learnt about Remembrance Day. We have visited the cenotaph and painted our own poppies. Some of the children picked a poppy to wear and we have donated some pennies. When asking the children, 'why do we wear a poppy?' They responded:

'Our brave soldiers'
'Mummy and daddy wear poppy like me'
'Thank you soldiers'
'We have to keep it safe'
