Sensory play helps children to develop their senses, encourages problem-solving and can build nerve connections in the brain. This is a great benefit of a sensory room as it engages different areas of the brain, helping children absorb and retain more information.
We make great use of our sensory room, it’s enjoyed by all children across the setting

We are proud to be lending our support to Breast Cancer charity ‘Against Breast Cancer’.
Against Breast Cancer are a charity that fund pioneering research into new treatments for Breast Cancer, tools for earlier diagnosis and advice to reduce the risk of recurrence and secondary spread. For every tonne of bras collected, Against Breast Cancer receives £700 to fund their vital research. With over 30 million women in the UK you could really help make a difference!
This exciting project not only provides the charity with donations towards Breast Cancer research from the charity’s recycling partner but also keeps textiles out of landfill and helps support small businesses in Africa and other developing countries where bras remain expensive to produce and where the unwanted bras are given a new lease of life.
To take part and help the charity’s amazing work it couldn’t be easier… just drop your unwanted or unloved bras into our ‘bra bank’ within our nursery setting, its that easy!
Remember, every bra counts!
