Vicci's French/Spanish Tuition

Canta Bebé Canta is a new and exciting baby and toddler group based in Old Glossop, High Peak. This fun class, based around Spanish songs and nursery rhymes, aims to encourage physical and speech development. It also provides the opportunity for children to learn social skills and for new parents to meet.

During the sessions we sing and move to simple Spanish songs and use stimulating resources for sensory play. No prior knowledge of Spanish is needed just a desire to have fun! The bonus is learning some Spanish words along the way.

The group is led by myself, Vicci, an experienced teacher of Spanish and French and new mum. The baby class is for babies from around 3 months of age until they start walking. The toddler class (starting in June) is for children who have started to walk up to around 3 years of age. Classes currently run every Wednesday morning and run in 4 week blocks which need to be booked in advance.

The May baby class times are as follows:

09.30 to 10.10 am
10.45 to 11.25 am

June classes times:
09.40 to 10.20 (babies)
10.40 to 11.20 am (toddlers, starting on 2nd June)

French language DVDs for sale. All have options for English subtitles. Excellent condition as most have only been played once. Many of the films have special features included e.g. interview with director, deleted scenes etc. Prices listed include 2nd class postage with Royal Mail. Another great, beginners Spanish tutoring session this morning with a lovely local lady. We practised giving and understanding directions from last week and learnt some useful shopping phrases. iQué buen trabajo Sarah!
