❤️So last week we helped to spread awareness of a condition called ‘Cru Du Chat’ ❤️ Thank you to all the parents, children and staff that got involved with the stripes. ❤️
Next week we will be supporting one of our families by showing awareness of a condition called ‘Cru Du Chat’ so even if you do not attend our nursery we will be doing our bit and spreading the word.
**please share and strengthen the knowledge of this rare condition**
It’s that rare it effects 1 in 50,000 people and is more commonly known to effect women.
***Finger Gym***
Our children are loving all these new activities and the benefits are amazing. The importance of finger gym is to develop their fine motor skills in a variety of ways. It helps to develop their strong flexible fingers, hands and arms. It also promotes their hand eye coordination.
Good afternoon all, just some information below to help all our local families with 2 year old children who MAY be eligible for 15 hours funding. Visit FSD Hounslow, click on childcare and then the 2, 3 and 4 year olds which will take you to a drop down of eligibility for the 2 year olds. I have also added a list of local children’s centre, where they have staff available to help you to complete the forms. We look forward to welcoming more families through our doors 😊👋🏼❤️
We have been very busy at Little George’s getting ready for our Easter celebrations 🐣 The children have been making amazing cards for mummy’s and daddy’s, fantastic Easter Bonnets ready for our parade and they have also been getting fully engaged in some wonderful new activities too 🥕🐣
🐣Wishing everyone’s wonderful Easter 🐣
**Attention your help is needed**
As winter is over and spring has arrived we are carrying out a garden revamp project and have lots of exciting plans in place. All practitioners and management have worked together to set these plans and came up with some fab ideas. So we would like our parents, carers and children to get involved too. We would love any donations that you could offer, we have some things that we are looking for so if you have any that you could donate, all at Little George’s would be very grateful;
Old metal pots, pans, utensils and cutlery
Plastic plant pots
Old guttering
Soil
Fairy garden ornaments
Wooden planks
Old cable reels
Old DIY equipment (for staff use)
Unwanted paint brushes.
Thank you all so much for you continuous support x
Play is so important to each individual child in their early years of development and all at Little George’s thrive to ensure they get all the best opportunities ❤️📚🖍📝
Last week we held a lovely arts and craft stay and play for all our mummy’s, nanny’s and aunties to celebrate Mother’s Day ❤️ We enjoyed making heart necklaces, planting some lovely flowers 💐, cards and flower paintings using celery, peppers and forks to give a variety of flower types ❤️. We hope all our families enjoyed as much as the staff did 💐
🐛📚World Book Day 2019📚🐛 We have all been busy getting ready for world book day with reading lots of stories talking about what we are going to wear and our favourite books to read. We have also injected the celebration of 20years of ‘That’s not my .....’ Happy world book day everyone🐛📚
This week at nursery our focus is all about Valentine’s Day and inviting our loved ones in to nursery to spend the afternoon doing lots of fun things with us❤️ So we are making some lovely invitations that we can give to our mummy’s, daddy’s, grandparents etc. We will also be reading lots of stories based on love whether it be about family, our pets or just about what we love to do❤️

What a busy morning our older children have been having📝 They have been playing a game of Letter Sounds Bingo to help with their preparation for ‘Big School’ 📝
This is a tool in which we use each day and we are finding that it is really supporting all our new children and those children that have transitioned over from our baby room. Myself and my team thrive to ensure all the children are as happy as we are when at nursery ☺️🖍🌟 ❤️
Well what a busy few days we have had back, all the children are super eager to learn and are thriving with all their writing skills as you can see ☺️. The older children have been learning about the date, month and year then learning all about the season which we are currently in and let me say they are doing such an amazing job 👍🏼 Our little super stars 🌟 📝🖍
All at Little George’s would like to wish you all a very happy new year 🎈 The children have jumped straight back into their routine and are eager to show off all their fabulous writing and counting skills that they have been practicing over the holidays, so we will be helping continue this learning in new and exciting ways 👍🏼
