Our preschool classes had such a lovely morning at the ark farm yesterday. Everyone had great fun seeing all the animals and riding on the tractor 🚜

Massive congratulations to Laura and Mark who tied the knot last week, wasn’t she beautiful!! 👰🏻

Poor Laura had a lovely send off this evening as it was her last working day before her big day next week, we hope she has a fantastic day 👰‍♀️

Brilliant day on Thursday for our stay and play plus walking the daily mile! Great fun had by all!

🐸 Life cycle of a frog 🐸

Each room have been learning all about the lifecycle of a frog and they have helped to look after our frog spawn and today we got to release our frogs into a pond in the wild. The children were so excited and loved setting the frogs free today.

Our wobblers loved getting outside to explore the snow today. They were a little unsure at the beginning but once they got to explore they had a great time

We had so much fun celebrating world book day today 📚
Baby room and wobbler room brought in their own favourite books to read, toddlers created their own bear hunt, cubs enjoyed the highway rat and preschool all dressed up and had lots of fun activities to enjoy 📖

Our preschool lions had such a great morning with Rabbit and Lark visiting us, the children enjoyed exploring all the textures and sensory stations. ‘Love you to the moon and back’

Cubs enjoyed Sensory play with herbs this week - parsley, chives, thyme and basil.
The children were exploring the smell and texture and they had lots of fun making Herb Soup 🌿 🪴

Community police visited our preschool today, they absolutely loved this experience and learned about how they can help us police 👮‍♀️

We made our first donation to Dundonald food bank this week, we will be continuing to collect until Christmas and will make another donation.

Such a beautiful day for our second nature walk of the week! The puddles were great for splashing in and we saw lots of leaves, twigs, and berries for autumn

Cubs had such a lovely morning on their nature walk, they didn’t let the weather dampened their spirits! 🍂 🍁 🍃

All of our rooms have been very busy creating a masterpiece from their pumpkin, ‘like’ your favourite to decide the winner 🎃

Such a lovely morning celebrating, the children enjoyed playing with green foam, making green buns, green arts and crafts and enjoying some green jelly 💚

Our little cubs had a lovely morning at their teddy’s bear picnic and learning all about hibernation. 🍂 🐻 we even made some yummy chocolate lolly’s

For parents: on Monday 19th September 2022, all Clear Day Nurseries will close as a mark of respect on the day of Queen Elizabeth II's funeral.

Queen and Kings for the day 👸🤴

Jubilee celebrations fit for a Queen. 👸
We had a great week celebrating the Queens platinum Jubilee. Baking, craft, colouring, games and a wonderful garden party where the sun shone all day ☀️

Toddlers and JPS enjoyed feeding the baby animals and helping brush them. The snake was very popular with some getting very close - very brave!

JPS and Cubs enjoyed a very hands on experience!! No fear from these little ones.
