THE TRINITY
Firstly, there is no explicit statement of the doctrine of the trinity nor the term trinity found in the Bible. However, there are several scripture verses which distinguish God as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Furthermore, the Bible distinguishes the Godhead as three 'persons' who are neither three gods nor three modes of God, but coequal and coeternal. Precisely we have no dogmatic statement for the trinity, yet there are very clear references to the three persons of the Godhead. Notice Matthew 3:16-17; 11 Corinthians 13:14 and 1 Peter 1:2 to mention but a few verses. Important, the three persons of the Godhead are not an independent entity.
Indeed it is acceptable, teachable and scriptural that each member of the Godhead is as much God as the other, yet it is the explanation man does not have. Man cannot analyse God. Man in his own words cannot explain God fully.
Despite the limitedness of man, the Bible has all that man needs to know about himself, Satan and God. It is also true that the Bible was not written to help man's limitedness to analyse God, but that man might believe God. It also helps not to search for that which is not provided for, for man has enough information at his disposal to help him believe God.
A simple example from a finite mind would be that of electricity. Who can explain electricity? Probably even the investors themselves would find it difficult, yet electricity is used daily in most homes.
Precisely, the problem here is not the question of the Trinity as it were. The real problem is man himself. It is his unbelief. Can you positively answer the following question? Do you believe in the Trinity?
One cannot say he does not believe the Trinity because he does not understand the theory.
Every believer should know that faith comes by hearing and not by understanding. Another fact is that there are many more biblical teachings we believe without having understood the theories. Good examples of this would be the creation of the earth out of nothing, the virgin birth, the incarnation of God, the conception of Sarah at the age of 90, whose womb was dead too, and the killing of a thousand men by Samson with a jawbone of a donkey.
Here to be honest, I do not understand such matters, yet l do believe that every one of these things actually did happen. l believe that man's problem is not understanding but unbelief.

Answer:
Firstly, your works or actions as a Christian validate your faith.
These works are preaching and teaching about salvation and God's kingdom, worshipping God, healing the sick, labouring in the house of God, helping the needy, casting out demons, sharing your testimony etc.
All these are some examples of works that reflect our faith as Christians.

Friday the 5th December, FOGONCAMPUS took it back to school with the theme of FOG BACK TO SCHOOL. We ministered at Netherbrook Primary School in front of hundreds of school children ranging from the age of 5 to 11 and their teachers.
